2024 council reorganization meeting is available by calling phone number or through Web Conference Zoom members of the public will be on mute until until it is time for questions or comments which will be announced at that time the public has the opportunity to question or comment by phone or through Zoom by the raiseed hand button and will be called on at the appropriate time this meeting was authorized by resolution number 223-2875 and sent to the Barry Park Press the Two River times and the Star Ledger on December 19th 2023 a public notice was advertised in the asbery Park Press December 22nd 2023 posted on the burough website Constant Contact in the bulletin board in the municipal building as required stat with adequate notice having been given the B clerk is direct statement in the statement a press release uh the Fair Haven mayor and Council wish to announce the forthcoming retirement of our burough administrator Teresa CAG Grande on or about June June 1st 2024 Teresa began her career in municipal government over 20 years ago and she has proudly served as fairhaven's bur administrator for 13 years during her tenure as the town's administrator she has been instrumental in helping to make Fairhaven one of New Jersey's finest communities Teresa holds a Bachelor of Science and a master's of Business Administration from Mammoth University throughout her career she's also been very active in the New Jersey municipal Management Association which is a Statewide organization dedicated to improving the quality of local government in New Jersey Teresa served as NGM NJ mmas president in 2018 and in 2023 she received the organizations distinguished service award for demonstrating a career-long record of outstanding service in local government Teresa will continue to serve as Fair Haven's burough administrator until her retirement which will help make certain that the governing body is time to find an effective successor that allows for a seamless transition of this important leadership position uh we're going to have some more Pomp and Circumstance for Teresa in a few months but right now let's give her a round of app okay uh moving along we have uh two incoming governing body members that will be sworn in um you know the first uh person being sworn in is not here with us tonight but she set a new standard in that even though she did not attend she has a sitting Congressman here to swear her in and that's pretty impressive Michael right there Michael's husband is here or no okay um do we need the Bible here It's My Grandmother's Bible so I think she'll appreciate this can you see me yeah can you see me I can hi Congressman so mayor um I'm just going to read do she raise her right hand she's got her left hand on the Bible raise your right hand
