cranberry School retail food plan review those plans were rejected and a rejection left was sent out to the project manager on the 10th of January and then the uh Board of Health meeting and I had a seminar any questions what was the problem with cranberry school with the plans yeah there were just missing items like for example they're supposed to submit to me all the equipment specifications so they might have said they had like Refrigeration units for example yeah but they have to submit specification sheets of all the equip but I spoke with them and they they know what they need to submit right so it was it was more like procedural not like substantive problems or whatever great thanks anybody else okay thank you you're welcome and then we have the Environmental reports anybody have any questions about the environmental reports or concerns okay moving on to Old business licensing update as of today's date there are 297 dogs licensed and 51 cats um seems like we're moving in the right direction okay and the new business would be the rabies clinic that was cancelled a couple weeks ago um we can reschedule that um because I still have the vaccines um so we can reschedule that for you know for any Saturday that is coming up that we can all agree on um I also have two new signs which I'm excited about so um I don't know if you guys want to look at your calendars it's usually on Saturday from 1 to two um my Saturdays look pretty free not the 2nd of March um and not the 9th of March so I don't know if we want to do it in February I have the 17th and the 24th free um does that work for either of those good I I can do the 17th okay um do you guys you want to do the 24th to give it a couple of weeks so they we can get the word out I'm going to be out at town oh you'll be out the 24th everyone else is available that's fine okay everyone else is available the 24th yes okay um so that's what that's like two two and a half weeks um I mean I think that's enough time to get it out in the newsletter and on the website and stuff like that so um so let's reschedule for the 24th from 1 to 2 um I don't know if we still have we must still have some people that signed up for the previous one right through email so I guess we can email them and let them know that the new date will be the 24th um and um can you get it on the website Donna yes Deb Matt and I'll email um um email the mayor and let her know uh and we can get it out in the next mayor's update and uh hopefully it will not have a storm again and I bought super duper pens that are gel so that they will write even if it's frozen because regardless of that storm it was going to be like 20 degrees which didn't sound like fun anyway so um okay uh and we do have a covid uh the the covid flu vaccine van is coming again in September 25th FYI for next fall we already have that scheduled oh for next fall so that'll be good are the new signs that you got like are they uh rabies vaccine specific or more generic I got one that just says vaccine clinic in Arrow because I thought I could the rabies vaccine and the FL yeah that's what I was thinking cool so anybody else have anything all right public comment thank you okay elain rushi I'm here from the cranberry um Birchwood at cranberry seniors we have some issues and I don't know if you have the answers but maybe someone can find out the answers I don't know I'm sorry anyone on the dayas and so I don't know what your positions are but um couple of issues number one is that we've had two more than two catalytic converters stolen from our senior's cars in our parking lot um two let me see where is it two just um on the same day which was about two weeks ago I'm sorry which senior centor cranberry Birchwood at cranberry birwood next to George's um this has been four or five I understand that have been stolen already we have a lit parking lot what what are we supposed to do I how how is this occurring how is this happening did you say five total and just two recently there's two recently and there's been a couple before that right did you file a police report I'm sure they all did okay I'm sure they all did is there any any any that any of you know of that's happening to curtail this terrible problem you know you have deductibles with your insurance it cost these people some of these they're like myself we're on Social Security many of us don't have a pension I don't and that's $1,000 out of your pocket right there um just for that without all the other expense what do we do about this how do we try to curtail this we don't really have perview over that um I can bring it to the attention of the township committee have you spoken to the township Committee in their comment SE section I have not yeah I mean if you wanted to speak publicly about it that would be the place to do it but I can certainly bring it up to the mayor um I mean I wonder if there's any way to install cameras I don't there are cameras I don't know oh wow they were M Men last batch that were seen um around four o'clock in the morning I understand and um in and out in now and of course I know you cannot have the police they drive through I guess but I don't know the answer to it and I'm sure you don't have the answer to it but I just want to to bring it up that this is a problem and I think it's going from what I hear there's quite a bit of it going on in different places not only our community um number two Focus was that when um I don't have all the details this could be maybe looked into George's Garage um about the side of the building um where many of our seniors live and they look at these trucks day in and day out out they run some of them all night long on charges or or whatever what about the fumes what about the noise there's ordinances why and I understand that there was supposed to be an agreement I'd like to get a hold of that agreement or figure out what that agreement was before the building was in inhabited that should have gone up with a wall of some kind before inhabited um um it it's they're complaining it's terrible and it's like about the fumes and the noise or one or the other the fumes gasoline fumes the noise when the trucks run um all hours of the night it's bad enough they come in and out they come in and out but to sit there and idle is another issue and then that's pollution into the air which comes I don't care what you say it's coming into their Apartments they can smell it I'm sure so we want to know can somebody please tell us what this agreement was that there had to be an agreement to get this place built there's a lot of things that had to be done to to pass to get it built what was the agreement I know from driving around and I've been living in Monroe about eight years in Monroe and to Cranberry um all the new developments if they're in the warehouse District they all have a they all have a wall of a high wall of dirt trees landscaped so why don't we how did this how is this oversight or it it's just not being pushed or I I don't have the answer but I'm hoping for an answer because it's not fair to these seniors to have to breathe this or listen to this in the middle of the night as far as I know we have a no idling ordinance ordinance anyway um so we can certainly uh look into that because uh I understand that so um you know we can look look into that and if people are idling I I guess the answer is to call the police and say it's been idling for you know five minutes or whatever um that's so that's definitely something that we have in terms of um the um an agreement I don't I don't know anything about that I don't um I would think that zoning and planning would would have information on that I can certainly find out Andre Andre Andre I don't I don't know all right yeah because I've made a few calls and I haven't gotten any response but I'm gonna call again um because we need an answer so I was just going to I I don't maybe everybody knows this but has this particular garage been there for a long time or is it it's been there forever it's been there forever okay yeah everything's been built around it I see okay and that was supposed to be some kind of agreement was it a gentleman's agreement well you know it's not fair how would you like living there smelling that or listening to that all night that's the problem nobody has to deal with it except us or the people on that side and um many of them are you know um well they need they want an answer um so that was one thing and the other thing well that's it too for now because we have some little things that we work with with the building with the um building manager which they take to the owners but those are the two that I think pertain right now to um I yeah I can look into it I mean if you want afterwards you can give me your email and I can I can let you know what I what I find out um I know we we are in charge of noise and I would assume fumes too so um I can definitely pursue that I don't know about any agreement um but I would say tell people I can find out what the idling ordinance says but I think it's like three minutes I mean it's a really short amount of time that they're allowed to idle and probably not if not I I don't know if there's time timing I know it has to do with pollution so I don't know if it's time but I can find out that ordinance and get back to you on that too yeah that that would be helpful so that I can get back to them um i' I've said to several of them if it's a problem report it have it on file and then we can see what we can do but you know sometimes you can't make them do these things they're afraid to do them and that's why I'm here yeah it may it may it may take that though it may take that people have to report repeatedly until I mean because no one's going to stop idling because there's an ordinance unless people start reporting them and making them you know pay a fine that's it we make ordinances we make rules and if and if it becomes a problem then you have to really enforce them nothing's perfect I get it thank you you hi my name is Rita Pascal I also live at birwood at cranberry and um I have a question about the handicapped parking spaces uh I don't know we right now at one there's one Justin drive and two Justin drive and right now at one Justin drive there are only three handicap spaces how do I find out how many we are entitled to and and if they've adequately put enough par handicapped parking spaces there so um you're you're at one just drive I'm at one J drive and there are three handicapped parking spaces but that's not adequate for the amount of people that need them exactly okay so we need to know I mean I don't know I mean there probably is some legal uh thing but also if there's more than more than that at there I think we could ask for more right I don't see that but we can I can look into that I I think that would be a a zoning or planning too um and at two Justin Drive which is mostly for families there's also three handicap spaces but one of the handicap spaces is specifically designated for one for one family and it has the their their license number and it says this space is only for these people so really there's only two handicap spaces there to use but it's it's it's far from you know if you have to walk especially with a walker it's a far walk so those two spaces aren't adequate either or you're saying you couldn't overflow into those two spaces because they're too far I don't I I don't live it to to Justin I live at One Justin drive but one Justin drive is not enough space okay so you're saying that even though there's two at two Justin you can't really use them exactly right so you're concerned about one Justin drive not having enough exactly okay okay and you would find out how how many yeah I mean I would like to have both of your emails afterwards just so I can follow up with you sure thing okay okay okay the other problem is there are two abandoned cars at the one Justin Drive address and management has not taken care of it one car has been there for more than a year and the other car has been there for months they both have expired inspection stickers and they just they just park there they're just there and they're taking one of them is right next to the handicap spot spots and he's been there for forever has has that been reported to the police no should I should I oh yeah yeah they're the ones that are going to deal with that okay now there are no signs that say you know parking only for to should there be a sign or I could call the police anyway uh if if the car hasn't been moved I would call the police yeah and find out you know if it's been there for over a year and it's it's no one's moving it's been there for over a year yeah and sometimes because of those two spots there's not enough spaces sometimes all the spaces are taken and I've got a really tough time parking there okay thank you okay and I'll follow up on the other thing if you want to yeah I would call the police on those cars they'll be the on yeah okay thank you so much okay thank [Music] you and that's the end of public comment okay does anyone want to move to a journ I move toour [Laughter] okay get your name you got to get in there all right good thank you thank you [Music] con like crazy that like somebody would do something like if youon there for like a year and it's right next to the front like wouldn't the manag get rid of that's it's like right front exactly why would you like get to there it's been there a year like to theend of story right I the garage thing is actually interesting we got dig into the garage thing but it's kind of interesting because probably grandfathered in or something you know been there forever right I don't know about the or whatever but I just see it when I'm driving yeah yeah right but that's it yeah interesting and I do we are getting more I I heard this is oh a lot more not just at the seniors Place everywhere everywhere it feels like there's more vs around cranberry doesn't it I think there is I mean are people Des they're not here they drive by com go that's what they're doing that's why I I think so too one of my neighbors is like a cop and he said something about that there's like these Crews no here here in Jersey like in my neighborhood no no but if he C in Cranberry no no no he's in he's in I don't know if he's in East Winds or west he's around here somewh Hamilton I don't know he's not a cranberry C but he he knows that there are these Crews that come through these small towns they drive up and down the corridor find these little towns and go hit them and then keep driving something you know how I know it happened to my parents in Chicago yeah yeah years ago yeah but they it's exactly that they would they were Drive they drive through at 9:00 they ring the doorbell nobody there so I don't even know what the situation was but we all happen to be asleep yeah I think I was there uh and so my we had the second floor window window overlooks the front door okay so my mom she told my dad she downstairs her head out the window like what can we do what do you want and he says well my car ran out of for the near G Station House a block away is like a big m road yeah like why would you be at this and she said she's very observant she said as he's talking this vanan is slowly cring by yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah so she says go down she told him where it was go nerv gas guess what what hour and a half later another knock on the door no time yeah like hey did you notice anything suspicious because the the house right down the street got got gotten yep they do it and they have an alarm system yeah they went for dinner they turn it on and they did the same thing and that's exactly what they told my mom they said listen there's this groups not from here they just just M around and this is what they do do you know another thing going on this is crazy what this happened to two families I know also Chicago no Chicago they knock on the door yeah oh yeah you know listen we're here we can we can look at your trees we can cut them down can I see your backyard sure what do people do follow me they go through their house to the backyard front door's open yeah in the backyard so the one guy is looking around talking right in the meantime getting stuff crew whoever however many come in Upstairs Downstairs clean it out all right see you two very aggressive said these days don't even open your door yeah like don't even it's sad it's sad that because it's terrible it's funny my I know both five all including my sister really yeah all of it all of it it used to be that you didn't even have to lock your doors you could just leave my my in-laws they used to down at the um even on LBI they have this house up on LBI at the North End and 20 years ago when they first got there they wouldn't even lock anything I would just walk in and out you know no one and now every door is locked all the time you know it's sad everybody's like it's not a it's not a you know not as good a well my parents told me like never nobody locked their car doors lock now they tell you lock your car doors because they're going to get your garage door open your garage steal your house yeah that's crazy it's terrible how's everything else going how's things going how's your little one I've been think singing about your son thank you I haven't yeah was out of town the last meeting so he's almost done with PT he's almost there he still doesn't have like you know how kids are super flexible like so with his his other leg he can pull his knee like all the way back up through his chest and it's like you know like this flat the other leg it it's not quite back there yet still has a little bit of stiffness you can't quite get it all the way yet but it's the rehabs will he be able to like they're hoping he's still working on and it's still improving um is this supposed to be e e
