##VIDEO ID:gpZGZy_7y4M## at it we are recording well at least we going have to listen to that young woman yelling right yeah I said the meeting will be a lot shorter with the Gil report I don't understand that there is a lot of information that they provide oh yeah she provides she gave me a lot of stuff I'm going to say that was that the meeting 5:35 mean one day they talk for an hour and we have no quorum so we'll carry the minutes for the uh December meeting over to the next meeting for approval if you'd like a copy of I got both the agenda for this one and a copy for the minutes last if you haven't got a copy just make sure you got minutes here right that's the minut from November okay I mean December and that's the agenda the uh we will do the December next meeting um Jackie did send down to me her initial report she said that there's nothing to be voted on this time but there's uh that the 18b survey from Blue Sky was submitted for the 17c and 18b plans related to the imagery of to the FAA once the imagy submitt is approved the final survey report can be submitted to the FAA this is anticipated before the end of January uh the Swip Stone water pollution prevention plan uh I've signed up for for it and uh I don't if they I haven't heard a thing from anybody so I don't know uh we have to uh we're required to submit a notice of intent and uh but we have to have somebody here on the up with because Gail cannot be our representative so once that's conf from we'll move forward with that and uh the uh master plan was uh draft copy is of chapter 7 went to the and the schedule of improvements and the Airport layout plan have all been submitted to the FAA uh at that time uh the because we uh approved it to be submitted at the time the commission voted to allow us to do that and we we're waiting for any final comments if anybody has anything that they don't like or want to make some comments about it and then they that has to be in by the end of January I think it is and they've got until the 14th which is next week the while life survey is going to take place in Spring this year and then the environmental assessment form uh and obstruction analysis they've prepared a scope of work and the FAA MTO provided comments on January 2nd and they're working to address all the comments and finalize the scope of work anticipate copy of the scope of work will be approved by the commission during February commission meeting once the scope of work has been finalized the independent fee schedule will be required Andale has uh can provide an if provider for the work to provide credit towards the D BBE goal the commission may select a firm of their choosing and then the fa Grant application project has to be submitted before March 3 and in February we will need a quorum so I don't know if there'll be an additional commissioner but I think as long as we have a majority vote with a minimum of four people here will be okay other than that that's basically all the Gail had any question questions on any of that they're waiting for uh approval of some of the bills have been submitted you got that over to uh John Richard Joe uh John Richards is it uh Isabelle yeah there's a new policy that he has to look everything over prior to may may signing anything before a project is even initiated so um that's due to some other things that happened but it's good policy and he oh yeah you know John knows everything that's going on and knows whereever money's coming from so he once he looks it over then if you go right right and he I know they have to it was like uh I didn't print that one out I don't have it on my laptop yet but uh had a uh look like it was about $28,000 for three projects that were C portion and they have to allocate the money um I don't know if that comes out of the FAA independ uh unced money that we get I think it does uh any questions on them on any of [Music] that we we haven't made any progress on any of the other stuff that's around here that needs to repair or work like the fire line or the uh the guide system you don't have anything from that get I can give it to you although includes orange and South Bridge in it so it's not exactly accurate but I can give it to you um the Greenwood alarm since he is not doing that anymore I sent him a certified letter asking him to open the code so that the next alarm company can come in and easily do whatever they need to do otherwise he has you know he has a you know it's extra for a new company to come so I did do that I have not heard that from him at all um the uh we are continuing our truck repair which has been our Focus this year to get the trucks going what's the name of the company that's going to replace Greenwood oh we don't have one we don't have company yet no we don't have one yet um but uh um so that's that uh the truck repair is still going I would like I would like to see numbers on how our budget is doing and how we're doing that we sent you a email about the um there was a quote from a firearm company that you were CC on it look sounded a little expensive but well Greenwood is still their created their own company I have them for both my business and my home and it's like 260 bucks a year for their answering service that's what we pay here and however this he um there was a problem with this being commercial and the components that he put in were residential so he said that um we could not well that's because of the the electricians came in and know when we talk to him they will it needs a complete overhaul is what I'm trying to get to because they they can't permanent with being residential equipment in a commercial environment they said no they won't do it now maybe they did it in the past and that was okay but current permitting will not this is Greenwood saying that or Greenwood and the electrician that we had come give us a quot yeah they said they they just can't do it under but we don't have a quot under to replace we have a close foret how much that was yeah but the one the electrician quoted was quite High because they would replace all the components they would add more smoke detectors out there they can't add smoke out there cuz it's a garage I told them it was too many I said I don't know why you need so many extras anyway I thought it they were a little over overzealous and they over overcharged us on their estimate um anyway the bottom line is for whatever reason those components are residential you cannot have here it's not allowed that was the last thing he told me so um okay and then on the gide system that radi is the portable radio that's right side of it I don't know does that pick up it picks up orange and it picks up South Bridge because they are also 1228 and I have verified that that is the case so it's not exactly accurate I mean we can use the numbers but it's not accurate but we got to figure out a way to get some numbers I haven't heard any numbers yet and the cost to replace that c system which is quite old is around $10,000 and includes an upgraded laptop which you have to have to support the new software which obviously takes more resources than that laptop can handle so we don't have the resources to do that but we can get an idea um of what the traffic is by using that it's just not accurate well I how the the newest thing is the airport's charging Landing fees and they're using adsb there which is not what adsb was supposed to be not what it was supposed to be but why can't we use the figures to put the numbers together if that's what they are doing well we don't we're not using them to charge a fee we're use them try and determine what our counts are because the FAA airplanes don't have an electrical system and they don't have an ABS without radio and some some of them actually turn their radios off there aren't many that don't there aren't many planes that don't have a the uh old airplanes they don't have electrical systems um they don't they near Vol anyway uh yeah it's something to look into because I think that I mean a hunting camera parked out next to the runway could give you the same information but it requires tending to yeah yeah it's a thought I mean for a couple hundred bucks yeah I'm just trying to because they always ask us well how much do you have what's your average volum and they want to you know I think they need that to justify all the work that they do and I think makes sense but when I I've never haven't heard anything and then like with the budget I'd like to see spreadsheets that would show what we spend every month we don't have we have one or two uh invoices per month for instance we have Templeton uh Light and Water uh this time of year it's running between $750 um January and February are are higher The Vault the new Vault that we have um is running around $112 per month just for the vault uh everything else is pretty much the same which is good which is what we have $750 per month but there's how much are we spending on the equipment how much are we spending on the fuel how much are we spending for heating how much how much are we spending for all the expenses that come out of our budget in a spreadsheet and what time of the year and how do they compare to the first year that you were here and I have none of that well be nice Jim what what's not nice about that it's how you run a business this isn't a business this is it is a bus airport commission it is a business and we have we have to be able to let's move on turn I'm just I don't I don't work in the blind two invoices per month doesn't matter how many and uh a couple other things that's yeah and the other things are for the trucks the batteries that we have we order the insurance and our insurance policies and are things like this I mean I'm in business I know what there is yes well count down be nice I am I'm asking questions you're asking for something that you've never asked for before I have asked you three times that no you haven't I have asked you three times for it you Jim this is not a business it's a government entity but it runs by numbers very flat budget it runs by numbers and and most of the uh work that we had done the last two months was um free so there's no offense to us who did the free work besides Jim Alan costantino oh yeah now of course yeah he did spend money which is okay to the airport which we're very grateful that we he bought the batteries that done and um he did all the work on the one time y i just okay other than that any new business anybody got any questions Airport's looking good I think so how about the uh equipment and uh stuff that was not done and completed during the good weather at the South End of the runway um we're waiting for what lights El they have to the this what is it the 17b and the 18 17 C and the 18b survey has to be completed first and then the construction survey and the Wild what is it the environmental assessment and obstruction analysis has to be completed and that's supposed to be submitted to the FAA for Grant on the by the 3rd of March and this all has to be done before those lights that give you the angle of approach can be well that's the py that's different the other ones are the end runaway end identify lights they're just flashing lights to identify the end of the runway not and they can't be turned on until they come up with the that they are free of obstructions or there I knows what's a what what's an example of a potential obstruction for the runway in in identifier L identifier lights yeah what's Rush trees okay and they have to have certain angle doesn't sound difficult to and they have to you have to that's where the 17 C I think is the I maybe it's the 18b basically they fly the approach and make sure that they they do at the fringes of the what is the approach envelope so that they can tell them that it's within what the middle of the approach so many variations from that so the FAA is going to fly that approach that right yes and they have to they come up out of uh that's a out of Atlantic City a king comes up and does that see but uh that has to be the electrician has to be here to set the to change them and adjust them if they need to be and then once they approve it they can turn them on leave them the papies is a whole another thing they have we have to make sure that's why the instruction survey is in the process because we have that so that we have no trees or anything that feeds on that and any trees that do we have if they're not on the airort property and that's where the environmental P of it comes in we have to get permission from conservation to be able to trim the trees or cut the trees we have to get permission from many owners for owners of the property that has trees on it that might be an hour construction so we have to get that their permission and the environmental okay to do them if they're any the we sounds as though One Step at the time [Music] approach so the cies are years out but once we get the that settled then they can turn that because put them in yeah one thing has to be done but we have to have the three that we're working on right now has to be completed before the we can move forward okay got and that's where this cuz this is over a 20year plan you have a 5year plan you the airport Improvement Capital plan and then we have all this and so is very structural as what we're looking at and they expensive because it's all uh whe and there is re for any individuals on private property if we have to cut the trees down they can get revered for that so that all has to be detered there are some estimates in the 20year plan that were forecast those I would not look at those figures because I think it's change they they made on past Des so everything is flu okay what else Jim other than that I think we're good cuz we can't vote anything through so if you have any other questions on this if uh we got to get them to by the 14th next week so um I don't 8 I think Tuesday you're right so if you have any questions on that I all exra copy of these too um but they can all be changed as we get closer to the time when they want to do it we start looking at it Al so try and put together a sequence of events with the 20 year plan okay so are you saying we're done with the meeting here interest saying if you guys will vot it or somebody say give some time that's it I couldn't need so I move and wej okay a second okay good to go it didn't take long
