and discuss game's stem night with Galloway schools I had an introduction all ready to go to introduce Mr Jacob bishof but in our preparation for this evening I realized that I have the opportunity to Ser assistant introdu uh himself as well as our participation in G Mar help with [Music] yeah problem thank you assistant the assistant that's all right I'm not offended thank you okay I have okay thank you Dan do you need [Music] extra okay you want to do this are we each supposed to have one okay good I hope you win thank you H tonight w and MO I'll [Music] and large scale [Applause] [Music] [Applause] nice Jacob can I ask a question we've been doing this a while were you a student do you remember abig gaming students coming to visit you oh okay okay because I know we've been doing this for a while abami sends a lot of students down to the gallway schools so it would have been really cool if you got to kind of sit on both sides over the years but those were some great pictures too thank you buddy okay absolutely thank you Jacob excellent job speaking it's not easy nice job Jacob did the students seem to enjoy your presentation did they have questions for you like did they one like ask you about what how everything was working she cool very cool well thank you very much thank you for being here tonight and explaining to us and thank you for visiting the schools too I really appreciate it great job very welcome thank you did somebody else have a question Miss Miss hassa um so are you looking at going into engineering as a career or is it just something that you enjoy learning about yourself okay thank you so much thank you and thank you Mr Kar your your your trusty assistant isn't helping you too well wait your p [Music] start I'm not gonna uh and now for the part of the evening everyone is looking forward to Miss Brenda Callahan and ssts I thought we were out of time we punted for a month but we can only punt so far the last time weed and middle DOI and how much of that total year occurred in Period so I know always ask about the number of students involved in so we had 1857 um some of the other interesting points you talk a lot about take look at number again and theall number down I just a quick question about the previous slide were all three of those years point in time or is uh 23 and 24 four years and the top to this point in time the top is just January okay so it's half of that total okay gotcha okay all right that makes sense you and then again I Tri to go on these slides look at it so green indicates a decrease going haveged in that not confirmed confirmed [Music] [Music] motivating and that change from year to year one of the other things and trans isolating and we're at a similar I'm sorry Brenda but we're at a similar context already this year for abag and again year to year what's the difference it could be a grade coming in it could be a grade going out it could be different mixes of students but I can tell you that already this year in December the highest number of alleged is by far at abami but I think the data is pretty consistent in terms of the number of actual confirmed being a percentage yeah a lot of in we is that you know our board policy reps it it's getting investig are we still seeing a counter um filing so like if one person involved automatically just I'm going to do say do it back kind of especially with the younger grades it's like an automatic you did this I'm gonna do it against you now yeah under the SS majority of what consequences of the our if if I could add one thing real quick and and Brendon and I have talked about this with the assistant principles and the principles going back to that that number that is actually student conflict or that other distinguishing characteristic and and this is going to be an oversimplification but a lot of times they're just really not being nice to each other like they are purposely and specifically being really really mean and I don't mean to sound simplistic but that's the best way I can describe it and we have now taken to having the assistant principles where somebody reach out to the parents and make sure the parents here your kids said this like this is what your kids said this is what this is why we're having this conversation to to try to hope that there's a little bit more awareness and maybe we get some better partnership at home with the families from the idea of this is just old school I'm being mean and and you know but it gets investigated it's alleged it's not found but it's really unfortunate so I just wanted you to know maybe the second month of this year we started a really formal conversation make sure parents here not just read in an email make sure they hear what their kids said I want so that to resonate [Music] cont bring [Music] different question actually um in the incidents are are any incident in multiple categories or always in one oh no so so even though we're seeing in a case you know uh you know assault 16 it could also be in a okay um right right then we look at so I guess my other question follow would be we look at a total number of incidents It could only be it could be a lot less of how many actually not as many how many incident you one incident could be you know five different categories so instead of that being five separate incidents it's one incident but five categories it was listed under so that that goes back to you've heard me say it for for years sometimes our own every one of your reports but is that something we can get maybe in a yearly on a yearly basis to know you know even though you know you know oakrest may have had 500 incidents but of that 500 incidents it was only 300 actual yeah I think we've talked about that in previous July Retreats and and we can continue to make that conversation where we kind of break down that's also where we got into it remember last year you know we talked about the fact that um 26% of the incidents were literally 11 students you know what I mean you so we can go back and give you that specific data always yeah all right thank you yeah great thank you thank you Brenda hey at this time committee reports uh program committee Mrs Gunther program committee met excuse me November 19th we discussed various things we had a brief overview of what Brenda just presented tonight so you should be well informed with that we discussed world language which seems to be a problem recruiting teachers and uh having students take World languages which breaks my heart because I think it's important we discussed college career Readiness I see you smiling you know why dual credit articulation uh credit refresher um magnet applications at that point uh we were told we're up about 20 from last year uh we discussed Joe Sabbath discussed um Atlantic hair career career planning um the biomed Atlanta Care Program students in culinary arts which I found very his presentation very interesting um and tonight Brenda's report we just did a a brief overview of that discussed autism and the fact that we probably will need another teacher um in the near future probably next year you want to continue you the um we will be um Renee as uh director of special services will be putting into her budget a second teacher and an additional par professional we will be expanding the autism program here at abami um as a reminder it is absolutely coste effective for the district to do this would not be uncommon for any of the students in that program to incur a six figure out of District placement expense um so if you can run into a situation even with the teacher and one or two pairs in the room four five six students in the room very quickly becomes cost effective for the district more importantly it puts the students in a general education High School allows them to participate in the breakfast program with the reach students gives them a different experience in terms of fizzed you know there's a lot more that can exist here in the building that we should all applaud when they have that opportunity the only other two things I would touch on really quickly if I understood M Rush's hand signals correctly we're currently up 15 51 51 magnet applications o this time frame over last year that is a significant number um we if you remember over the last couple of years we've added a couple of additional magnet programs actually each of the last two years we started a new program um and the other thing the world language to just put a little more context on it for everybody colleges and universities are actually no longer offering World Language programs the way they used to be offered for Teacher education it is very much a um a dying or a going away um breed if you will it's unfortunate what we discussed that evening we'll continue to look at throughout this year but it may include some version where we're looking for students to kind of self-identify am I looking to do the one year that I have to do or am I looking to say I want to do three or four years of a world language in my high school experience and we may try to tailor or customize the world language program to better suit those differing needs because right now if we're running short on teachers you could end up with a lot of students in an in an engl or a Spanish one or a Spanish 2 course that have very different aspirations for the language so one of the things we're potentially talking about this time is trying to be a little bit more specific and what the offerings would be for individual students okay thank you thank you um and for finance Mrs Garrison we're doing Finance right now we should yeah we had meeting yeah if you want I do over if you like I know I we just did it can you do it yeah sure we had a finance committee meeting tonight at 5:30 um we went over the budget update obviously uh everybody in front of them has a budget calendar I put it in front of you we're real early on that front so we're just getting started uh audit re audit update uh audit should be completed by the time we get back from uh Christmas break so hopefully I will have it for your approval at the June regular board meeting um James gave an update on referendum we're moving forward with the projects the U pack projects are the next up and uh hopefully we'll have them out to have approval at either the February meeting or or late January uh we got a proposal to do an energy savings Pro program an EIP that is a program where a company comes in and through the Energy savings funds a project for our school district what this does is give the company the uh opportunity to give it analysis to see whether or not this will be appropriate for our school district so we're going to move forward and see what kind of analysis they give us and then we'll come back to you to see whether or not it's worth our while uh we gave a quick update on the abami gym floor construction will start on Wednesday the dumpster should be here tomorrow um we we're hoping that everything goes on schedule we'll be able to use the gym when we can return from Christmas break but again uh hope keeping our fingers crossed there um as you see in the agenda tonight um our transportation director is retiring um I tried to beg her to stay but she will not stay um so we're working on a replacement we have someone in her Department right now that is a possibility but we look further into that and we'll talk more in the future we talked about the technology department um making a couple of the level one text into the level two text with a slight increase uh we talked about that and there'll be agenda items in the future as we looked at that a little closer and then finally we talked about the ESS proposal uh what is the ESS again Lois effective School Solutions School Solutions um they are doing a program where we take our tier three children correctly yes um and they'll get reimbursement from private insurance and Medicaid possibly um for some of those uh Services uh no cost to the students there'll be no co-pays no deductibles they don't have to do it but this worked in other school district so we're going to look at it move forward with that see if it works it'll be a year-to-year thing if it doesn't work out we won't move forward with it um other school districts like a Harper town and bit have also been approached and are looking forward to doing that also so as we move forward that will let you know how it's going and that was it thank you I I'm sorry I had mine in shorthand and I was going to take time to transcribe it and have a full report for you by next month I would just be impressed that it's in short hand right it's in short hand still thank you thanks Tom no problem okay this time I'll move to board member reports and I'll ask the students to start off um alela good afternoon so here are the following updates from Creek this month so recently in the past couple of weeks we had new merch drop in our school store including hats gloves and just all different types of winter gear and a lot of our student athletes are very looking forward to purchasing these different merch items um last week we had our AP Scholar's breakfast and The Culinary students prepared lots of food and desserts for them um charm sha Martino Vincenzo Veo and Ryan mccan competed at the Nike Northwest us championship in New York and they had a very fun time homecoming was November 22nd and it was a really fun time and today we had staff from our sending middle schools come in and learn about our school and just our magnet programs Ava Sonia and Steven made it to Regions with their environmental science Capstone Ed project making biofuel from food waste and today we announced our our teacher of the year Mr gazar and at ed services professional Miss key and last week we had our star discussion um and they we discussed inter interracial relationships and I can say that since I was there it was a very heated discussion but it was nice to see how passionate the students were talking about these different outlooks and how we believe in what we believe in so yeah have a good night thank you very much Adriana um hello um oest is starting this is more of like a fun thing that's going on at oest is we're trying to incorporate like class battles for some healthy competition this upcoming winter where classes can see whoever brings in the most for the food drive um blood drive we're having like Deck the Halls which is a hallway decorating competition along with like decorating doors with teachers and then we're o bringing back our spirit stick and then our for the 20th and it's now a half day and we're doing something new called zero period day we're kind of trying to figure out a cooler name for it but it's just where students can go walk through different activities throughout the day and just like have a fun time before the pep rally and then break winter sports are starting to pick up we actually had a girls basketball scrimmage today um davies's William Davies middle school and ESS are finally in like Cahoots and in a trying to get both media programs working together to kind of promote our magnet and we recently had a trip where the Davy students came to oakrest and we walked around filming different projects just promoting kind of like the okes community what goes on during the day and kind of just working together and our teacher of the year is Miss Kimberly Kramer thank you uh chush from gamy Good evening um I previously mentioned the Turkey Trot Brave day and I just wanted to make I wanted to let everybody know know that the turkey trout was Thanksgiving morning and even though it was a little rainy everybody still enjoyed it and they had a great time coming out um Brave day was also very successful a lot of different workshops including like a surf shop um the EMTs came out and gave kids like an ambulance tour and more along those lines last Thursday we had our dance show in the pack it was successful all the kids enjoyed it they had fun and they love to put on the show for upcoming we have the gymnasium closure for repair as Mr Cross had mentioned um all sports have been moved to away schools we have planned our spirit week for next week however we have no pepp Riley again due to the gym closure our abandon chorus has a concert next Wednesday which everybody should go check out because it's going to be amazing um um and our teacher of the year Mr Dan O'Brien also joined us in the audience and educational support professional of the Year Mrs Christine raino happy holidays everybody thank you very much any other board members have anything to report uh Mr SEL yeah I'd like to uh welcome back Mr Carly after missing his I'm glad you're back and with us uh in your spirits thanks your fun Spirits thank you uh yes Mrs Gunter yes um I think about four of us attended the GIF dinner where we won a lot of money and prizes let's put a lot in context before people 4500 $4,000 even okay well that's better than losing 4,000 absolutely yeah I always figure that um and it was a nice evening and I I thought it was interesting and um well we had a good time would you like me to repeat my jokes no no okay I like I thought they were funny but I like corny stuff that's me Miss haa um this uh this past uh like week and a half I had the opportunity through my volunteerism in the Hamilton Township community to get over to two events um one was challenge day over at Davies and it was really great to see um okus staff um actually okas principal was over there and participating with the Davey staff and the Dave students so it was really cool being there as a community member and seeing the collaboration between the two schools um the other thing is our uh through um Hamilton cares um it's the first annual raft day talk about corny um it brought together 15 um of the uh njs and uh 15 students from njs and 15 students from um National Junior Honor Society at DAV so the oest Honor Society and the Dave's Honor Society came together they wrapped 189 books um that are going to be going out to kids throughout the Hamilton Township community and then they did that so quickly they were able to take all of the toy donations given by all of Hamilton Township towards our community um toy drive and they made a store out of it that parents are going to be able to go in with bags and and Shop um for free uh but they really it was amazing because watching these 30 students come together and just they had a i pi it's pretty cool um just a huge pile of toys in a messed up classroom and telling them just use your creativity to make it welcoming and special and within an hour they had over a thousand toys organized displayed and a beautiful place where parents are going to be able to go in and and get Christmas presents for their children um and the kids did it all on their own it was really incredible to watch the and they got to talk about Davey students asking questions about oest and we saw them building relationship so we uh we look forward to doing that again next year for the same type of of event and uh it was really successful and the kids did a great job so just wanted to give them promps and the the advisers uh from the oest Honor Society came over with the students and were absolutely amazing down to the fact that they were wrapping gifts too so it was really cool okay thank you great yes just really briefly um I had the pleasure last week of attending the oakrest high school dance concert and I just really want to give a shout out to Rachel gasal I think she does an amazing job in helping to balance um the opportunities to do the dances that they like the dances yeah and uh giving things ways to express themselves while also teaching other dance styles yeah um the choreography um it's not easy and I think she did an amazing job of helping to balance both and the kids did a great job different you know skill levels and everything um it was a job well done so just wanted to give her crudos thank anyone else okay at this time I'll open the meeting up to the public anyone wishing to speak on agenda items only okay seeing none there's information items listed I'll move on to business agenda action items I'll move um I'll move business agenda items B1 through B15 on pages 2 through five second Brian was that you yes yeah thank you okay B1 through B15 count on pages two through five have items um I'd like to just say over the years I can't imagine how many times if I tried to count how many times I've heard Michelle's name and what a good job she's doing so yeah I just really want to make sure we say thank you for her time and years of dedication and I'm sorry she can't stay longer I and I also would like to add with deep regret with deep regret on that motion and me too with regret but happy for at the same time yeah definitely okay roll call Harman yes haa yes cly yes sorio yes right Edmonds yes Garrison so now I'm okay on P3 cuz we changed it is that okay okay okay I hope I hope yes I'm with you um oh yes and just make sure you put on there with deep regret for P1 I will do so thank you dther yes how yes motion approve okay all right superintendent report Mr Raina thank you um one additional piece of information Mr grai mentioned the referendum update uh we also spoke last week with the architect to nail down our expectations are moving forward along a similar timeline for the concession stands that's a new concession stand at Cedar Creek and some upgrades to the concession stand stands at oakrest in abami they were finalizing um the uh the proposals we made some minor revisions within the scope of work just to make sure you know do we really need this or can we do this type of conversations they are working on that at the architectural level now the goal is also to get that in front of you by the end of the month and get that work done as quickly as possible in the spring um every year you hear me talk about the great programs that the buildings run um board member hassa talked about the collaboration between oest and Davey students and everything that Ma Landing Community put forward in terms of gifts for students all three buildings are running fundraisers are running programs this month that are going to put you know is going to put food together for families is going to get um you know we have the shops or the little stores in each building students don't pay if students need personal hygiene items Basic clothing items those are always available to students at no cost um but I have to give a special shout out this year oakrest in collaboration with Hamilton Township um the oakrest principal Mike Manning the oest principal secretary Kathy doosa communicated kind of what they were doing for a secret santa program with Hamilton Township committeeman Carl patali who put it out on social media and put it out through his Professional Network um and as of last night the the school had raised $800 on Friday in a denim day to provide for students that as of last night the community had donated an additional $6,000 wow um it is a number that I have never seen or heard in one individual incident in in my 20 years as an administrator in this District um we have already started a conversation both with with Mr patali and with couple of other people we're we're going to be um we're going to make we have ideas for what we want to do with Christmas I shared this with a couple of board members and conversations over the last week but we want this to grow a little bit more than Beyond Christmas because of the dollar amount so we're looking at a possibility if there's a student who's identified as being in Need for Christmas we want to set a little bit money aside and if that student's not going to prom We want to make sure the reason why they're not going to prom is because they can't afford it and then we might have a little bit of ability there to provide some assistance again the students in all three buildings are identified by teachers by coaches by advisors by the guidance staff by the CST staff but because of this dollar amount we kind of want to be a little bit more judicious with it um we also talked about maybe doing something a little special for some of the students where they get a small like a $ WWA gift card and and that becomes pick the one person in your life life now you can go and buy a cup of coffee for and tell them thank you just to kind of also teach that idea of when you have the opportunity to pay it forward it doesn't matter it doesn't have to be a big dollar amount you pay it forward so you know the the connection between oest and Hamilton created created an unbelievably generous gift um but we're gonna do more than just kind of the normal with it because of what's available there um I just one name was left out of the teacher and Educational Services Professionals of the year at oakrest the text name was DJ sterle so he deserve some credit also no worries it was announced late um but I just wanted to make sure that DJ got got his proper recognition um and I also wanted to take a moment and just recognize all the Performing Arts um advisors and teachers over the last couple of months the plays that I've been to now we're getting into the winter holiday concerts or the dance performances I shared with all of you um a couple of weeks ago that full calendar of every event happening in every building for the month of December and January if you are interested in going to one just shoot me an email it it really is impressive I love the model we've moved to that the buildings are doing now the vocal and the instrumental concerts together I think it's a great sharing it brings a it puts a larger audience into the AUD Auditorium also which gives the students even a little bit more Vibe when they're up there on stage so I think that's a really cool Evolution over the last few years but again there's there's a full schedule you're no not short of entertainment from so many kids that are so impressive so if anybody is interested just shoot me an email thank you all right I just have a few things under my report um I want to remind people that the uh make sure I got the right dates here um reorg January 6th I know right after the holidays it's hard to remember that you know all the stuff coming up but that make sure that's on your calendar and the retreat is the 15th it's a Wednesday um trying to go through in the right order here uh I wanted to make sure that um I sent I do this every year but just to say thank you to staff students everybody involved for all the things going on at school because whether it's just the daily school day as it gets closer to the holidays and everybody's a little more wound up or the the concerts the holiday shows all the different things going on in the buildings you know whether it's Sports whether it's doing something in the community um even the people that you know have I know different people are going out doing things in the community and the uh students the chef was saying tonight we have a couple different places they're going in the next week to serve the community so um just thank you to everybody involved because at any point the more that people are out there doing things especially at this time of year it's so appreciated and it's nice to see it all happening so I just want to make sure I said Thank you to everybody um last thing is kind of a uh an apology because last month I wasn't going to be here because I was supposed to be on vacation that got canceled um I was gonna ask Marge to do something for me until and then I thought I was going to be here but um because my surgery the next day I didn't um usually by November if we haven't done it before I remind everybody about that we're going to do a self- evaluation it's due the end of December if we wanted do it so I want to know if you guys want to try to take take it on in the next couple weeks or if you want to wait um self- evaluation gives you a chance to say like where we are what we're doing um I did talk to James because it's such a tight turnaround time um we could steal some time during the retreat not to do the self-evaluation but to talk when I talk to Michelle Kennedy every year she always says you know our board's doing really well there's not we don't really need like a lot of times it's to look for what we need or what kind of trainings we want so we could talk about it then so I want you guys to tell me you know do you want to try to do it do you think we're okay putting it off I don't want to be a um you know I just the last couple weeks were not good weeks for me so uh I I apologize I didn't send an email out sooner but you know maybe by the end of tonight let me know what you think you know think about it for a minute and let me know um and that's all I have I will move on to Old business I will move on to new business I know we have an addendum I move new business one and new business two second whoa he new business one and new business two have been moved in seconded any questions or comments on these I I do have a question would you explain I don't understand there are two different things one am I missing is one a stien for one is a s position is the no guide but because of additional tasks and duties there's a sid attached to it and those are registration Duty correct okay strange I don't mean that that's strange but the way it's worded that's probably just follow the guide right it's separated any other questions or comments I'm sorry we can't yes yes yes yes yes yes only I have everybody the committe hey any other new business don't okay at this time I'll open the meeting up to the public for all matters anyone wishing to speak could you speak the microphone yeah he got to put it in front of yeah I heard it it's no one time when you tapped it I thought I heard it is that better fantastic thank you I'm new uh in consideration to as a faculty member here uh but I'm not new to this Township by any means I grew up here in Galloway Township uh my heart and soul is here in Galloway Township last year I took a PA of position here uh just to be involved with the school more and to really ingrain myself into the role as head coaching for wrestling and uh as you guys know here in abami there's a really big Legacy of wrestling has there been anybody here that has wrestled or tried wrestling once or twice one two hate it or love it ha it but love it wrestle here at G yeah right hate it and love it maybe a little bit as well too and that's pretty the consensus I have both stories as well too uh super tough sport um not always fun um but I'm sure there's some stories of gratification as well too from it um and that's what I'm here to necessarily embody as well um we've only had four coaches I'm the fourth coach here out of what 51 52 years or so and uh I'm here to make sure that this program stays alive stays bright and stays vibrant uh and I think we're doing a fantastic job at that this is my second year last year I absorbed about six kids from the program and I've managed to get out 40 kids last year um boys and girls this year for registration I think we have about 55 56 kids it's the most I've ever seen here at this program and if you go to other schools as well too uh it's the most that they've ever seen as well too so for as much of a sport that's super hard and I'm encouraging kids to manage their weight uh do push-ups run five miles or so uh and they're falling in love with the sport the same way that I did so uh six years old at the GTA program grew up through it watched high school wrestlers might have even watched yourself get onto the mat as well too and uh has been something of a sentiment to me to be here and do this so I appreciate and I thank you for that opportunity but I do want to address a concern with you guys here here being a coach at the ABS gamy uh high school as well so I did my best to kind of develop a speech to kind of articulate uh just the overall morale of the coaches and athletic department here as you guys know we've been struggling just finding coaches and having coaches here overall in general and quite honestly ever since I've been in this program I've always loved wrestling I've went on and got a kinesiology degree my wife she's a physical therapist um and I've just wanted to come back here and Coach cannot tell you exactly why I've wanted to necessarily just come back here and help out and Coach as much but I love doing it it's fantastic I coached at my university for three years and when I left there and came back here me and my sister opened up a fitness studio and contined to do strengthen conditioning and physical activity for the community and when this job steep down uh he passed the torch to me which was really humbling and I really do appreciate that he trust uh and loved me to take over this program and again as the fourth coach in history for this so it really did mean a lot um however let you continue um but I just want to caution you that you know you're here speaking as an employee on issues related to the program so you're just being warned that you know be cautious of what you say I I also want to make sure you there is a three minute time limit s yeah absolutely and and we can't I I'm not going to cut you off but we have to we have to be somewhat cognizant of it because otherwise in the future we couldn't hold people accountable to it absolutely I agree my goal here is just to build transparency I really have not had too many people to talk to like I said I've faculty as well as a coach as well too um and trying to build transparency trying to build goals trying to build philosophies that coincide with your guys' Institute and and goals as well too um so I will try and keep it short for the most part so thank you I I stand before you today to address critical issues that many athletic programs are facing right now low morale in a sense of inadequacy that has taken root amongst our athletes coaches and staff this problem is not heart and soul of our athletic community in recent times it has been increasingly clear that morale within athletic departments is at alltime low athletes who have once showed excitement and passion for the sports Now find themselves lacking motivation coaches who have dedicated their lives to nurturing young Talent are struggling to maintain a sense of purpose and the overall atmosphere that is that should be one of encouragement and hard work is now feels heavy with frustration and doubt this shift in Attitude doesn't happen overnight it is the result of several factors that have gradually chipped away at our unity and spirit lack of proper resources ineffective ineffective communication unclear goals and unrealistic expectations are just a few of the challenges that have created in this atmosphere of inadequacy but perhaps the biggest challenge and issues are the root of low morale is the feeling that despite all the hard work the support is not necessarily there when it's needed the most for our athletes it's disheartening to see that there is hard work on the field or even in the gym doesn't seem to be recognized they see that their efforts overshadowed by issues that seem beyond their control like subpar training facilities in sufficient funding or lack of access to the latest Technologies in sports science it can feel like no matter how hard they push themselves there's always a barrier that they can't overcome for our coaches it's even more discouraging they are the ones who are on the front lines day in and day out trying to motivate and develop our athletes yet they are often met with inadequate resources minimal support from the administration and the pressure to perform with less with less than ideal circumstances it's difficult to build an effective program when coaches are expect to succeed despite these hurdles however acknowledging this issue is only the first step now we must act we we can no longer allow low morale and feelings of inadequacy to Fester my goal overall here guys is just to build communication and transparency to make sure that we have a similar goal and similar philosophy I've been able to write really good effective um referrals for some of our athletes one of our athletes Bren Wright is trying to get into the US uh Coast Guard Academy it's an extremely hard I'm just gonna caution you not to speak of C students I'm super new with this so I think I would just I think you know I think we should just wrap up and not really go into talking about specific students or sure circumstances I just do want to let you know that we are doing a fantastic job and I do want your guys' support overall in general and I don't mean to come here and be malicious or say that you guys aren't doing anything wrong that's not my goal to point fingers or say anything um I just want to be able to work with you guys be here with you guys and build a strong Community thank you so you thank you okay anyone else okay do we have a resolution for executive session I do have a quick ex section 7 discuss in the session board education the public Personnel anticipate that resolution dision I'll make a motion second all those in favor I
