there you are ah good [Music] morning [Music] thee we have meeting order want to welcome back Mar okay um okay is there any addition solution to correction um to the minutes are we talking about or to the I have addition no this number three is anything anybody wants to add to the or move up in okay okay that's what I have wanted make sure um I think that there's that we had discussed the Mr and Mrs Miami Lakes which is 8 C that we weren't going to do it this year so I'm not sure why that is on the agenda and I think so that's number one um so I I suggest we delete it because I believe we've all voted that we're not doing it this year and um called their track which is e uh it's cancelled for this year I I don't know if that is th this year we weren't going to C that I know so I think that should be deleted um the legal form for last year was cancelled so I don't think right it's for this year so I think that should be done they will provide not provide um as far as new business um there okay that's a a new business so can you oh and and one other thing um to add we have to do a report and I don't know got did you prepare the report I can't anything in fact I think it's really I need know because I can't can't even get anything off okay so um we have to submit uh a town it should be elderly and I didn't type because I thought it was the Elder we still have time so speak so but I I just want to go through it with I want to add this to the agenda can I ask you to make um just a motion for that for all the Ed say you just mention yes I'll make a motion that's to so I want to add the report that we have to submit to council um and so I make a motion to make the changes that I just suggested second anything I have discussion discuss question is um new business a that seems to be contrary to Old business where we cancelled called the that's why I'm can that's why I'm mov to get rid of 8 e remove that if I can summarize for her I think based on what you were saying just so we're all on the same page and you guys follow with the agenda it's delete 8 B8 B 8 e 9 a and add new business F okay so delete an old business 8B delete D 8 D that is 8 e and eight correct and delete 98 so we're on for the eth for call yeah but what about new business a okay have that to discuss here there yet yeah they're going to propose that as what it's on right and then also adding new business F rep to council [Music] right you just say hi Oh I wasy don't scare me like that does anybody else have any additions corre they want to add to the I just want to say something if it's possible okay and the last event that we have we have problem with the bingo so L says I think we should buy a Bingle okay so the gentleman that was there here Mar he already bought it he was going to bring it in today just a few minutes later he's going to sponsor one of our events say are we discussing the minutes the previous minutes no we're still on the agenda you know we can move and um if we can move up the library presentation because I know they're visiting us and they're here so so they don't have to wait through our entire meeting so I would suggest that we move up e 9e to make it before 8 make it fin you ready for us um I think they're we need to go through a few more things no problem and then we can do it we're not on a rush okay no no so I think that's it anything else on that was the last thing our meetings can't be long that's why I it's [Music] okay public comments she's hi Mom is her name just like me who's going to join hopefully she joining [Music] presentations have Library okay we want us to do we have 19818 O2 left it's not factual but it's how much 18 19,800 right 19,8 18 and2 cents good morning good morning good morning than you and that's good because we've gone through half the pretty much no it's exactly yeah we have half the year so we have six months left to do that and we've been doing what an average of one bing month one be months and they've been costing approximately $1,200 well we'll be having a b right but we're supposed to have a social still and a field trip as you guys mentioned the the sponsors I just wanted to remind you I know we had this conversation but I'll take this opportunity to remind you all that sponsor dollars get used first right so I said but that's why I said actual when actual no but I wanted to mention that that's highlighted in the report so when you see you'll see that the 6,100 up top you'll see that it's subtracted from the total at the bottom as well right CU that gets taken first and then they pop into bu so at this point your spons dollars have all been used up to this point right if you get more as the year goes on and if it's more than your budget then you'll have extra left but as of right now um yeah the last check was from yeah and what the biggest we have the meat and eats and we have six of them left at least and you're talking there's $8,900 so at 12 if there's six times 12 12 somebody do that math 8, yeah we're right there we're right there yeah that's a good that's a that's a good thing we're right on schedule I think yeah not considering that we'll get more sponsor and the social those are expensive ones yeah and we should talk about possibly doing a summer social which is what we always do with the summer one yeah the field trips right but the social but the social are field trips the field shs are different right yeah no they're so um so I would suggest we consider later on can add that to the agenda nice what so what social we want to do this summer think I take this opportunity sorry I gotta opportunity to um recomend name yes from the coun hi guys so I I just wanted to to pop in for a second I know the the last Bingo event that that I went to which wasn't this one that just pass the one before it was a little bit of a scheduling snapo and the the Bingo equipment didn't get there until late and then I heard that it it happened once again so I wanted to make sure it doesn't happen in the future so I got you guys a little back so we can make sure you can't have Bingo without Bingo thank I'm good I just wanted to we need to find a home for this yes so that nobody's responsible for putting in their car no we have over there we have a place over there we have a place that's good thank you so P you want to take it over there all right so I hand it to Pedro we have all the Bingo cards over there two or so right that's what I thought weing cards okay thank you Tony comments from you can I do Vice chair comments yes you can okay um so that was an issue the Bingo just for anybody that wasn't there I guess I could do that under old business really should have a the Bingo um we did have an issue last time for the Bingo we didn't have the Bingo she she couldn't the person who normally brings it didn't work bring it Anem had an emergency so the seniors understood but they were extremely disappointed number one and the other thing is we didn't have um the raffle tickets so there was no Raffles so they were also very disappointed about that um so I would suggest that along with the Bingo that we put Raffles over there got to take it right no just if we can have them all at the at the place so that we can we have an office there that is lock right so yeah we can use it if we can put actually theing been there for six months now and I'll give you the tickets it's all set for the next day I I think sometimes the ra it's too long to be honest with you maybe we should only do like a couple of WRA of things or because it it goes on forever and ever and ever it's what it's donated to us that everything that we ra few dollar use for this for the most of this the sponsors always bring gift cards from their company and that's what we use in for and that they live for those no but the gift cards are what we give away at the bingo the raffle is the knickknacks or whatever and maybe we should do maybe five or not so so much I my opinion I it's the way I've been working it's only with stone because I don't have anything but they you know so whatever's donated I put out there some sponsors and reg some others you know so it was a long last time but we really needed [Music] that got the same box yeah exactly the same box just in sorry Mario pleasure meeting you so so everybody knows he was present at the last video and he saw the um the issue that we were having let's call it that the issue that we were having with the lack of bingo the disappointment that was had by the elderly for not having a bingo so so apparently he was kind enough to bring his one so now we have two one all right so had an idea these I'm assuming they would and that's may be a bad assumption on my part one of these were purchased on Amazon so can either of you exchange one of them for the board where they put the little balls and then that way they don't go rolling I guess we'll do that I thought that one came what comeson have to open it up and see no they know they have it on their phone oh let's let's pull it up pry sure I saw the best CER but I was told that yeah I know I said I'm gonna wait three pieces piece H yeah one way or the other if it doesn't come with it I'll definitely take it back can you know get that for you but I'm pretty sure that it comes with a place to put the number yeah it should be the G the balls and in our cabinet [Music] and right so thank you to ready all right so that was my comment from the vice chairman okay comments any public comments you want to say anything or you want to talk to Mar you want to say something no just thank you for having me do you want to sponsor yeah thank you for having me here you know we are we are local here in Miami Lakes we're up in the Bank of America building um I'm sorry who are you in [Music] going to get there a little bit of a excitement you know on the way on the way there but uh I've been in healthc care since I was 21 I'm 65 um so and you know what we doing now in this last stage of my of my career is build something for the elderly you know for them to be able to have support at home and not have to go outside of the home sometimes that in of itself creates a problem they don't get to the care fast enough so they have to call 911 and you know so the the whole focus is to try to give them the sources that they need at home you know so that's what we do we primary care practice we practice in the home so that's we bring a bunch of resources not only the Physicians but nurses that can support the elderly with multiple chronic conditions that's that's what the company does my name is Mario Espino the name of thean Complete Care Management Services CMS you want to sponsor probably one of our Events maybe in or most definely yeah if you have a business C I'm happy to send you a sponsorship package sure you want to know if you have few more you can get also you can you tell us what can you do with the program you know with the doctor that you bring we going to do on Saturday Tony yeah I think that you you'll get a good idea Tony Saturday is at the picnic the American Le yeah so here's a card for some test for yeah but you know we have uh you know so we we're lucky to have a lot of you know doctors from foreign countries that that are nurses here um and they'll be there we'll have three uh there we can do EKGs we can do blood pressures uh oxygen saturation uh hydration you know testing we can do all of that we're going to do all that for you on Saturday so you get a good idea what we do in the home how much data we collect to help us make decisions good decisions sat going to the picnic the American Le of picnic that go by you want to go where is your office at in 9 L yeah we're in the Bank of America building you know we're in the third floor you know right outside the reception area there more happy to take any questions anything that you guys have u i I don't have anymore but I promise next time I'll bring you I'll bring you I work with Care Plus oh you do that's great that's great one of our one of our vendors one of our good vendors yeah not too many of the pairs have embraced the ideology but you guys are one yeah yeah we do we have yeah you want take a picture Maria take a picture I think thank you thank you to you like Library do you want to say anything now or well we have a presentation it's gonna take about 10 minutes so let's go to all assist here to move this um meet and eat actually I think the DAT not 8 a were April 16th is the next one no but this says old building where are you in the new business no we're trying to get through the old business so um I think the date's wrong there what was the date that dat for the next one is April 16th April 16th but the one we just had which was oh the old business was March March 22 22 it should not be correct that so old business a meet meat was March 22 which was the Bingo that we've already discussed had um called the race track's been taken off officer am was Amador um he usually comes no but this is old business I don't know something happened far as I know he was he been helping us a lot with um with the seniors there was an incident last before but he usually is there just to watch to see if they see get get sick or have but he's been helping second okay so now we're at new business um so Library you're up you're ready you want us to stand in the front why don't you come up and bring those so I'm gonna go first I'm gonna the Powerpoints I'm gonna Zoom through the PowerPoint but I know I know everything have a clicker so um I'm with the mam day Public Library System my name is Jennifer for Shipley I'm the library operations manager over the 10 branches in the Northwest which includes Mii lakes and I also special services which is services for people who are um homebound or disabled um so as you get elderly reading is extremely important for your cognitive abilities and even if it's an audio book continuing to be connected to literature and books and information is incredibly healthy for your ment health for your cognitive ability and everything like that so we offer tons of free materials um for people who are elderly we also do special programming so these are some of our programs that we do for the elderly we have art for seniors in May for older Americans month we're doing 10 art programs for seniors with professional artists we also have a low vision seminar we do every six months where we invite people who are visually impair who enjoy chair yoga art um lectures from different people around the county who serve people who are disabled uh we also offer eye exam through Basin Palmer uh oh there we go so special services includes connections books by mail talking books storytime Express and Inter Library loan so if you can't find a book book in our library we can get from you anywhere in the United States um connections is a free service that allows any material that you can find in the library to be shipped to your home with two-way postage that we also ship tablets and hotspots to your home if you are involved with facilities a daycare center an adult Adult Daycare Center or a senior facility like an assisted living facility we can provide hotspots tablets and M materials to that facility two-way postage so like the gentleman in the back who who works with seniors those seniors are all eligible to get materials sent to their home two-way postage um the benefits of the service is that the resources come right to your home you just flip over a card stick it back in the mail it's all free um you can order by fax phone um email or on our catalog um the materials include large print regular print foreign language DVD audiobook hotspots and tablets um let's see and all these services are located at the North a Regional Library but we serve the entire M Dade County and talking books also serve as as Monroe County so talking books is partially subsidized by the federal government we work with the Library of Congress and we get we have more books than overdrive does anyone here use OverDrive which is the the app that the library has for audiobooks and ebooks or your phone a overdrive it's called liby now okay well talking books has more books than Libby but unlimited copies so there's never a waiting list so if you want a bestseller talking books provides it for free either through an app on the phone or you get it mailed to your home and it's partially subsidized by the federal government and there's no cost to the user um and the postage is free um you can get it virtually or you get a cartridge sent to your home with an audio book on it or Braille sent to your home as I said it improves your quality of life and it's ex extensive collection unlimited copies of the books because of because of treaties and copyright laws for people with disabilities the federal government makes it unlimited copies so there's never a waiting list for these books um this is what the digital player looks like we provide that for free and then you just put the audio cartridge inside and it can have up to 20 books on it and we can put any books that you want that you select or you we can pick books for you based on your preferences if if you don't want to use the machine and the audio cartridge you can get an app on your phone and do it all from your phone or your tablet this keeps skipping ahead I'm not sure okay how do you go back there you go so these are some of the websites where you can find our collection and you can search our collection on on the mdpls website on Bard on the NLS website or on the local Florida catalog and also if you have The Bard mobile app on your phone you can search The Bard mobile app on your phone and like I said there's over 350,000 book titles available with unlimited copies um and that's our phone number 35751 8687 uh we have brochures and I have business cards if anyone wants to get in touch with me okay I'll get a business thank you what's the difference between hoopla because I use hoopla from the library well Hoopa um has hoopla wouldn't have as many as many fiction and nonfiction books hoopla has a lot of movies and graphic novels I'm just getting my [Music] card I has a lot but um as far as fiction and non-fiction talking books I should do that better get more stuff through talking books yeah but for talking books you do have I didn't talk much about eligibility so talking books you have to be visually impaired or have a physical disability that prevents you from holding a book so if you know somebody who's who's physically disabled and can no longer hold a look they might have arthritis people with Autism Parkinson Ms or anyone with a vitual disability they call talking connections is anybody who can't get to the library anybody so if you have transportation issues if you're a caregiver if you uh are in a wheelchair any reason at all you can't get to the library you could do connections okay okay I have a question for you um a l of seniors do not know that this is available and that's true so if we had a day at the library here for to teach him if you show them what all this new equipment is and how easy it is maybe more of to the library yeah I agree I don't know how the feels about that but I think it's did we do it once I think we were going to do the library uh last year was last year but we Hall but the library is good have that room a lot of people don't know about the life I you don't know how many people call me no no but what I'm saying is if if we have an event Library you can invite me well yeah we can invite you and we can have it at the library so it will force them to learn where the library is to here it will force them to go to the library and there's street parking there and we have an auditorium it holds about um 70 oh 48 it's a small audit 48 so about 50 people in the auditorium we are we are undergoing a renovation at the end of this here I don't know how many of you heard about that at the library so Joseph is going to talk a little about that um but we're expanding a library literally expanding the footprint of the building and expanding the auditorium so after the renovations we could really have a nice shindig at the library so is it going to be closed it's G to be closed so the library so if we do this now then if you do it now you have the auditorium that holds about 50 people and we could also put a couple tables out in the hallway but if you do it after we reopen it we would be able to accommodate more people no but what they haven't started yet what I'm thinking is if we do it now when it's closed and they some of them might have these audio books at least they will have that during the and we're going to have a temporary location well imposed we're looking at properties throughout Miami Lakes for a small temporary location while we're closed we won't have an auditorium while we're closed most likely but we'll have a place where people can go and check out books and and hotpots and there's a library in Palm Springs North or did that one get closed no there is there is yeah but we're gonna have a temporary location in the city of Mi L get that discussion just see that you mentioned and I came in on the last tail end of this I apologize um have you got plans of doing a presentation of this sort for the special needs Advisory board group yes because okay because that would be a good audience to speak with as well yeah we we um we're going to be speaking at the special needs in May and I invited someone named Carmen Baker so it's going to be Carmen Baker and myself and Carmen is has been very involved in our autism initiative if you look at our web page right now there's an Autism acceptance month Banner on our web page and there's tons of programs throughout the system so she's going to talk about autism acceptance and I'm going to talk about all the other services thank you yeah any other discussion a vote all in favor any name motion passes great thank you so much okay time to talk for thank my name is Joseph trulio I'm the manager at the Miami L Branch now if anybody needs a have cards we has the number of the branch and my email give me one minute sure and I'm going to try I'm going to bend your ear for a couple minutes and trying to talk about stuff we're doing at the branch right now let me turn walk around be EAS here my wife said they need exercise [Music] yeah talk about that thank so as one of your members mentioned yes at the branch we have now started on Fridays at 11:00 a.m. a uh rotating uh low impact exercise class it alternates from taii to walking but it's walking in place you know we don't take outside inside and I have a few flers or some of that oh and something else we got coming so we having a Spanish guitar performance on April 20 we've done it before he's been very popular he's actually a library staff member who comes so you what's any of you attended our adult craft program we have every month a craft a craft program for adults we called Talk craft you me what type of crafts do they do it varies um you can check with us and see what we've got coming up for that week um but space is limited because we prepare all the material supply them to you just come in and do the crack so it does require registration online through our website I know that at the the one in Miami Garden they have like a cooking thing for air fryers and stuff like that actually had had someone come in from the outside do an air frire program air program um in addition to what Jennifer talk about talking books we also have our called library at your door program which if you don't even if you don't qualify for talking you still can get free materials sent to your home and that's oneway postage but you can get you can get as much as want sent to your home and then at your convenience you put it back in the in the book draw youa back up any brand any so you know if you're in a rush you have a busy schedule or you're maybe you're convalescing from an accident or a surgery you can get books shipped to your home one way for free through librar door and have anybody dropping back off at the branch yeah okay I brought some FES to the Tai sheet now alternates one week it'll be Tai Chi and the next week it'll be our walking in place program you can check calendar unfortunately we can't do the we didn't we were going to start the taichi this month but we're also a polling place for the town for the special election and runoff so unfortunately my room's going to get kind of taken over by elections thank you but to get it we plan to get it set up for May we're putting it in our calendar for May to start with the alternating walking taii walking taii and for the elderly so basically yeah Friday so we we're basically we're trying to aim they have a special called the needle work Circle which you can talk about knitting crochet sewing hotpots tablets Chromebooks that's part of our mobile lending Community internet Community connectivity initiative check out Chromebooks for they're like brand new Chromebooks for for uh 30 days and they have all the bells and whistles of a of like a Mac computer and we also have taets that you can check out for and that's for everybody on our project and I want to make sure I remember everything I would like on the list yeah for adult learning academy which is classes we provide for adults right now most of it say like we had recently finished a series with ESO classes we're off the branch Unfortunately they won't be back till the summer because of the voting and that we only have the one room that everything goes through but the adult education includes um Spanish Portuguese they have adult to help people learn English um um if you're taking the immigration tests they have preparation for the immigration test they have all kinds of adult education uh classes yeah all three do they have photography I don't think so so um the gives you a short list so please you can send me yes sir send and something out maybe Satur have a good morning guys thank you anybody have any questions I don't want anybody wants to ask anything oh yes you mention yoga oh no we don't have yoga we have ta we have taii and Walkie okay okay yeah that's all we offer from now any other questions and I'll get out of your hair get back to business very thank you for having us through the chair I have a very important announcement for you guys been made aware there's an executive session that's probably why councilman Fernandez just out and unfortunately they do come into Community conference room so you guys have about 10 minutes up your meeting let's move this really quick can I move it right guys we have 10 minutes to finish this and we have all the new business to get through so real quick called the racetrack are we going on June 8th this is the first time this is on the agenda that anybody bring a proposal for this whoever um the race track do we have or if you're interested I gu I guess we can table it for [Music] now table we'll have it up on the next meeting if we can get somebody Maria were you doing the proposals we're waiting on we need to see her now yeah but just so that we're clear she's working on the field trip it wasn't for called R TR it was for the I know where this the first time anybody okay so let's ask does anybody think we should go to call RAC trck see the boss is too expensive right so should we say take off called the racetrack any motion motion okay I second all right discussion no discussion being heard um anybody uh vote all in favor of the leading and not doing called the racetrack this year it pass it passes we we are not do called the race tra deleted okay so the next one is the senior lunches we have one on April 16th we do not have these two days of June June or no we have April 16th is the next one yeah and then just so we're and then may there should be one and there may there's May 21 is your May one okay and then for June is June 4th now I want to highlight the reason that that one is June 4th is because as you guys know Roberto Alonzo then goes into a conflict it's summer the kids are at Camp so we don't have anything scheduled for you guys for the summer as of right now we haven't discussed summer dates it sounds like to me like you guys want to have summer ones from what you mentioned earlier however in the past you've had them in town hall as you guys know that has been a conflict and we really have outgrown the states I need to talk to facilities to see if it's even safe to continue hosting it here because we do run out of space I know we try to limit the list manes residents only but as you guys have seen the crowd has grown so how are we going to control that I don't even think we have a grip on Bingo as it whole right now so I don't know how we would even maybe those are some ideas that you guys can think about bring to the next Bingle I'll talk to facilities and see um I'll check if by any chance Mary Collins becomes available but then I think there's also conflict because all the programs from remember Alonzo get mov into so I will try to come back with options for you guys but in the meantime I would ask you guys to brainstorm on how we are even going to handle registration that right okay I have an option I can talk to an heres because it's a place on back that is room for 200 people that we can use I'm pretty sure we can use and is right here in Miami oh okay so right in front of mar okay ped I'm in charging you sure I talk d as Vice chair and chair you are going to for the next meeting which is May sure right yes so may for the May meeting you will have an answer as to whether or not we can have bingo in the summer there okay everybody think that's a good idea before I guess can I'm sorry make the the motion the second and then we'll move into discussion I made a motion right so we need a second okay I have gotten so many calls for registration I was WR to they were asking me can we go back the way it used to be no they're standing in line one I'm sorry every time we do that then people say you take preference and then we run into problem the preference if at the last Bingle there ladies that came in and told you that you took preference personally and she got really angry yeah remember she got really angry it was her and some other and her and the it was like a man and a lady and then three other people and then they said they were going to come to town hall and complain about us you remember so we have to keep it fair if they don't register and they don't know how to do it I'm sorry but we can't show preference I know but we're not showing preference if they're signing up if they meting before well what they're saying is that if they didn't come by they they didn't get the opportunity to sign up but that's your problem no it's not you know you're going to punish all the other people for they things here at Town Hall the lady called me she said I don't know how long I stand I've got very bad kns I can't do that I mean she gave me every excuse in the book I don't she doesn't have a computer if I here because I want to make sure we're all on the same page the current process since we voted last time was that they have two options either they come in person and fill out a form physically to sign up or they do it through event break correct correct and just you know my opinion is it should stay that way and I told the seniors when I was there registering people I'm like go on event right it's on your phone if and they're like oh but I don't know how to do it do you have a grandson do you have a son do you have a daughter do you have a niece a nephew a sister a brother oh yeah of course I do well then ask them to do it in the story because we can't I really do not think that we can have like oh but I didn't do it you know what it we had two lists there was last week and I don't know why they didn't type in the list from we literally had two lists they weren't in alphabetical order the thing is that so what you bring up that point when we do a physical list well then it's not an alphabetical order right because people come in whatever they type it into event right like like the Betty used to do like us to get two the thing well you would get a type list because they would call in and we would put them in I don't know I I don't I don't want to tell you yes because I don't know if they're GNA because the whole issue with them calling in what was a complain that then they wouldn't get a call on the phone right that was the whole issue so now I don't want it to fall on them that they're not getting phone calls because they're their typing up list like I don't know you know what's correct there I have to talk to staff I really don't know can you ask staff if somebody can type it in and just and then Excel spreadsh you even if it's not an event right type in the name I know but it's that and then sort it by name now we're giving them this extra thing like I don't know I don't want to say yes I because it will be an extra job for them to do no I understand but they were on that list there were all of 30 people's how you sir hello hell physical list it was that's how many people came and signed up in person and then it was 30 on event right for the last thing wow I just know that yeah I have the people were like two or well everybody so that's the thing walked in and then catered to them well and to be very clear the issue with that is although we do a list for the sake of planning right planning our launches and all that however and and I and I want to be very clear about this we cannot turn away seniors if they come the the best we can do is hey guys because we didn't plan for you please take a seat you are more than welcome to sit down we should not have seniors waiting in the hallway that is not right because as you know they're old they they can't stand for no that's exactly what we maybe separate a table for them but I want to make sure the entire committee hears it separate a table for them cater to them like you're more than welcome to attend but please let us get through everybody that signed up give them their lunches for they are the priority and then whatever lunches are left over we give to you and that's what we did and that's what we did and she still and she but I think we've been very clear about it maybe till the last Bingo but I know some months ago that was not the case so I just want to make sure we're all on the I think everybody that was the at least the last Bingo when I was there it was like you're not on the list and a lot of people weren't coming because it was right I said look I'm going to write you in but you know can you take a seat and you may or may not get food yeah and so everybody got food we had food for everybody um and so day rainy or something but I just want to make sure they're accommodated at the bingo table because I know in the past we've had them wait in the hallway and we shouldn't do that because then they do feel disputed I know I've had that complaint so I just want to be clear that we should just set aside the table for those that didn't sign up yeah they can take a seat they can start getting ready to play the issue is the food and just so you know it it's not even that from what I can tell the problem is they there's a line of people that have signed up and when they come in and we're looking and they're not on the list and we had two lists so I was doing one list and then um es cologne was doing the other list so if they weren't on my list I sent them to her to see if they were on her list she would tell me they weren't I would write them in now and they were allowed to sit down with no problem but we still had to keep that line moving so that would require then a third person to like do that and I think what I was asking to do is be patient I'll be with you in five minutes let me you know get to where there's a five minute break in the people that had you know reservations and that's the way it is everywhere and that I think encourages them to sign up okay the only thing I've been is they have called me that because last W last Wednesday they closed the the trip for males we Clos like 3 weeks before because we sold yeah when we open it because the people says don't we open a week or two weeks before that's the 17th of April the no no that was for the we opened two weeks before for the B yes for the field trip it was posted as soon as it wasn't confirmed which was after the meeting we talked about okay so then just so you know I did I I did go in yesterday and I opened five additional spots because the limit is 50 and we had put it at 50 we we did sell out I opened an additional five po because I know there's always people at yeah actually the B takes 54 people I think this one takes 50 although but point is that I added an extra five in case five people don't show and aren't we going to have like them that they can come if tell them to come and if somebody doesn't show up they get to put on the we talk about it and that's what we just prioritize the list that's all but everybody's welcome Nancy you got your hand my hand up you know and I'm sorry just reminder you guys have four minutes yes my my question is what are don't answer it my thought is what is the process because every time we get involved with this the process has changed no wonder the people don't know what to do because I barely know somebody asked me what's the process iing today for the Bingo any signing up what I would like to hold on guys my turn what I would like to suggest is that at least for the Bingo our biggest events and they're all the time is to come up with whatever the heck the rules are and print up a sheet and whether we give it out at the bingo post it on a door or a window I don't care how you do it but you're going to have to disseminate somebody or somewhere rather what the heck the rules are and stick to the because they keep changing as we go don't say no because we're changing them again no going to change okay not changeing the point is it's confusing if I am member don't know what they are current no we should print it then it's confusing enough let's print it up so you can say this is what you have to do otherwise you're either on the list not on the list and there's the waiting list just give them an answer and that's it post it on their fridge quick event right if you don't join you get to come you get to play Bingo but you don't get food unless it TT for food don't give me the rules no that's it so let's move on because we need to move on so Margarita Bill we're gonna table that for now yes all right ball games we have the ball game coming up what day is the next ball game I see two dates here and I just want to make sure we're all on the same page right they're wrapping up um all right so while she looks that up uh April 17th that's the only date that was confirmed by you guys if you're interested in another one let me know and we'll book it no let's go to 17 to let's see how that one goes and then do you guys want me to bring an a quote for the next one though I had brought two quotes you want me to just look at the next date after the next meeting and then you guys okay okay report to council we need to get this done so I'm going to ask real quick I'm going to go through this um Dy who appointed you I'll go okay you'll go through I have the official RS okay all right it's more what your project considerations on but we don't need to do that today yes oh we do all right so wait um just so guys uh initiatives and events one of the things that we have for this report we have monthly bingos we have a Christmas social we'll have a Thanksgiving do we do that as a bingo or a social you can you can get it to me later okay um guys hold on guys Nancy pay attention this is the report that we have to turn in and we have to is it is it part of the I don't see it so you're talking so fast well that's why two minutes I get it but we're trying to play catch lectures for the elderly we're going to do lectures for the elderly as we've been doing many lectures for the elderly all the meetings we're having good we're going to do a Halloween is that a bingo or a social a social anything uh we we're gonna go to the Marlins games um and we're going to the movie movies we had talked about going to the movies we'll vote on that that's one of our ideas is take the movies in the neighborhood and then a field trip we need to come up with another field Tri the museum we just don't know what anything else that we need to add to this report that we're giving to town no okay so everybody agrees this is what we're going to report to town all right all in favor wait I second it discussion all in favor meeting adjourned I just wanted to say that I'm not in the minutes in the previous minutes okay hi
