hours done um they need an x amount of community service hours for the year in order to be inducted and they're kind of over the regular uh community service that they've done so I'm looking to Outsource other ways that they can meet these hours with you guys fantastic we have a lot of opportunity to volunteers do you want to tell them the most like closest thing for the I know we need a bunch of volunteers to help yes we do um I I know I is kind of also in charge of of collecting our volunteers from the different schools we we you guys are Goldman right yeah um but our reindeer run is the 14th a weekend Saturday um we start the run at 8 8 am but we need volunteers I think what time to come 6:30 yet this is 630 yeah 6:30 set up yeah set up and and whatnot so I don't know how many technical volunteers we have signed up for this okay I I i' like to always say there's never never too many but also don't want to have everybody like standing around me and crazy right um I do know that we'd have some opportunities for students to run from free or have a comp a comp ticket mind students so we'll share that with you later as well to participate um yeah I'd love to let I help us on that she was in charge of coordinating volte we're talking about volunteers and the opportunities for these folks to volunteer yes so I believe that they're all coming from Barbara Gman National Honor Society right and she's from M I'm from M Lakes naal Junior so it'll be six grade okay perfect those are the ones that you from perfect um so yeah I just wanted to you know one make sure that you guys were confirmed for the event so thank you all for coming we we'll make sure to give you guys credit for just attending tonight's meeting um we're going to go over some event details I wanted you guys to kind of cuming yourself with what the event is going to look like you want to give them like a brief you keep going okay um so I'll give you guys a brief uh so we have this event um annually it is a 5K we we do expect about 700 Runners um to be very specific what I need from the students at this event is really a lot of setting up um and getting a lot of our sponsors organized so the event officially the race starts at 8:00 a.m. but we I'm asking the student volunteers to be there at 6:30 a.m. because we have a lot of stuff to do um staff is going to try to have a lot of the things already pre-organized so I just more than anything I'm going to have a lot of you in the morning grabbing stuff from the main building I don't know if you guys are all familiar with Veterans Park here in Manny Lakes um the community center we have a room there where we're going to have all of the stuff that we need so we're just going to be grabbing from there and bringing it up to the field did any of you help last year by any chance no okay that's about 100 yards at least okay so Isabella here is going to be the lead um from town staff when it comes to the volunteers so if you guys have any questions at any point don't know what you're supposed to be doing or done with your task or anything feel free to check in with her and she'll let you guys know so they'll be pulling out chairs and tables for right all right so so some yeah I'll have my pickup truck there perfect so we'll load it up and then I'll drive to the grassy area to un if you guys can help us unload chairs unload tables the tent will already be set up so so just for reference we're going to be putting a table and two chairs under each tent um I'm also going to have a list there's certain tents certain sponsors certain businesses that will bring their own tent therefore the tent will not be set up by the time they get there obviously they're going to be bringing out their own so I'm going to have a couple of you also helping them set up and put them on the ground for them make sure that they're all set up and I'm also going to be providing a map for you guys because I want you guys to be aware of the ones that are going to be bringing their own tents and the ones that already have a tent letting them know which tent they should take for the event um we're asking all sponsors to be there 7 7:30 a.m. at I think we're asking them to be set up by 7:15 a.m. yes yes okay um and then some of you I will grab for water stations so I'll kind of hand you off to our race vendor and he'll put you in certain spots which are along the Route so that you guys can help give out Waters to the runners um and I'll have some of you setting up so there's barricades for the race towards the Finish Line I'm going to have some of you um at 7:00 a.m. start uh start hanging up some of the banners that we need to put up and then at theend um at the finish line there's going to be a couple of tables that all the runners will pass by so I'm going to have a couple of you help with giving out medals so everybody who has a bib who's an official Runner gets a finisher medal and then um they'll also get fruit cup so some of you will be helping the Chick-fil-A tent and the other will be helping Ernie zasai tent giving out the whatever Foods they're giving out so that's mostly it maybe some water deliveries and some water yeah wherever we need to run water sponsor Village yeah but the event for the most part is condensed to one area and that's where most of the action will take place so with the exception of the water stations those are that are going to be down the route um I think will the map have those water stations marked down um I will not take you to those water stations Reuben the race Fender will so we'll we'll connect you with them Park yeah and that's really you don't have a route map huh we it's the same as last year I can share with you guys I'll make sure to have those things printed for you guys so you guys can reference it and the water those water stops on it too I don't know if they're on there I don't know if they're on there I just know Ruben said them more because that's part of his contract okay okay I'm gonna bring the boxes tomorrow okay so what I'm going to do right now is pass out a sheet for you guys if you guys can give me your shirt sizes so I can get those ready for you um I did ask I think it was crystal that's with you guys I don't know um I asked um if you guys could please wear comfortable clothes sneakers obviously you're outside it's hot please drink water have a good breakfast um we sunscreen I will provide the shirts that will say event staff on them so you guys just come in your athletic wear is fine sometimes it's mushy if it rained or if it's yeah the grass could be a little mushy so sneakers that are comfortable and you don't mind getting dirty yes um and that day you'll check in and check out with Isabella as well do we need them for any pre-event prep like the bagging and stuff so the second opportunity that we have for you guys if any of you are available would be Monday the 9th um at headquarter Toyota if you need to address let me know I'll give it to you um right I mean it's right here headquarter Toyota the used car building it's actually called the Toyota r car building now they changed the size okay so Toyota Rena car building um Julie will be there I'll be there yeah so you'll be helping her stuff bags we have 700 bags that we need to prepare with putting flyers in putting goodie bag goodie items in there so that's what we need you guys help with if any of you can sign up for that I would appreciate if you can tell me now the shift is from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m however we're flexible if you can be there an hour earlier or an hour after we'll take the he that yes yes and if we should finish it if we don't finish it then we'll have to carry it to the next day one of the issues we had last 4500 455 plus 4,000 something because we already got the five on the sponsor side and to subtract the th from the Hau donation side or it's it's right under 50 right that's amazing um yes we are of course we're still at 183 Runners and we have what are we at seven eight 10 days left before the Run 10 days it's like dreams if you guys are any of you are finalizing sponsor we can accept the $500 sponsor because they don't go on any prints yeah actually I'm dealing with one right now that telling them we're already done printing shirts oh bags came in bags came in today and the shirts are getting picked up tomorrow by our arts department so obviously as we spoke we'll be stuffing bags on Monday yay getting all ready for that um we are shy of of all the the swag from the sponsors I poked I poked them today and hopefully we get some more stuff in um but if not they can just come out after 10 so it's not a big deal um what else Santa Claus oh okay so um I guess we'll do the scholarship presentation that's on the yeah let's do let's talk about the sequence of events yes so I'd also like to call out that Mike C's family donated $2,000 $200 to the to to the reindeer run that's nice yeah I they that's fantastic makes um okay so I think the question is do we want to do the national anthem prior to the check presentation or reverse it we're gonna have a band there that does national anthem I would put the national anthem as close to the kick off to the run as possible don't put anything between that and the run that builds and it's like a build and yeah cuz the band is amazing yeah I just talked to him today all right 60 I think what we do is you know he's a veteran he's not gonna be late I'll welcome everybody and so we start we took off the run about what time 8 it's um promoted for 8 A.M but I'll let you guys make that decision yeah we wiggle you want to do you want to start talk when did we do the warm up was it like right right before the national Anem before oh yeah oh yeah while we're talking about it can I pass I need one of you to give me the final run of show so that I can share with councel and like that they know show the final what the Run of show what we're talking about right now oh the sequence of event all right so who's gonna who's it going to be signing doing it right now so I'll send it to you once thank you perfect and I'll national anthem when they're in the running shoot like at the line yep so then they're going to just stand there for nine minutes it's nine minutes long well no the national an is one minute yeah right or two minutes how long is the warm up whatever you want it to do so let's say yeah so let's say Okay so let's make it 955 just uh give her 755 755 yes 755 and then we do the so the warm up 745 we have to do a check presentation and the welcome check presentation that's going to take about 10 minutes so that'll be after the warmup or should the warmup come after that shouldn't you warm up and go warm up and go yeah or the one minute so it should be check warm up national anthem all right so the welcome and check presentation how long is the warm up it could be five minutes it's like five to seven minutes and then including getting them over to the start line we want everyone set and then an national anthem goes yeah and that's the crescendo before okay so warmup starts at 7:45 War the warm up is going to be in this in the starting area yes is that where you went well yes sir we normally you in the grass we did it in the grass with the podium yeah with the podium and then you moved them and then we moved them over okay it was cool because we Uso to go over so 7:45 same thing warm up I'm just drawing down times and I'll say 70740 we do the welcome and the uh chat present well I want the people to be able to see it and they're all going to be in the warmup well yeah so you would do the check presentation before right before the warm up like right where the warmup kind of area is because it's going to be it's going to be where the like the my coaches will utilize the podium that we're having for like the first second and third like as kind of like to be elevated to give the instructions and that's a perfect spot photo opportunity for and we'll have the vehicles too and you'll have the guy with the pay and [Music] mile make sure [Music] he's what we'll do is we'll do the wones and the check presentation but we'll kind of announce that everybody gather up for the warm up that way everybody's at the warm up spot y because I'm not going to show up for the welcome and check the check for them warm be and the coaches and over once everyone's there check presentation once that's done warm up them over to the start line who's I thought it was case we would need to get him a new Santa Claus suit so can we just use that Santa Claus that's going to wear it to to go to our event since he's dirty it exactly she I mean I can find out but I don't think so was a plan for the Santa Claus what were we going to do I mean just because exactly what he said we were going to we were going to check to see if we had one available and then you guys were going to confirm the no no I'm saying what we're going to do with Santa Claus at the rich put them in the Fun Zone oh okay that's cool so I mean as of right now I'll take that as an opportunity so we have the laser tag confirmed that's um the laser tag the petting bur we have the cornhole and the connector that we've used for other events so we'll bring those out as well we have a snow machine confirmed got it so yeah and we have that with the Santa I think it will come together next yeah what do we do about a suit with the Santa so our option would be to buy one but I wanted to run it for you guys because they go between 50 and $100 expensive aren anything I mean I thought we're trying you what we going to do with it after we buy it because it belongs to the towns they'll have it clean and it's to be in a box it's have sizes large on it it's to be for the next year we're g put it in the in the samonian we actually have we actually priced it do we actually have that price it's it's I look I mean I did a quick search on Amazon and said 50 between 50 and 100 and they still do have some sellers that can send it to you by crime does that include everything the beer the Hat the whole committee um PSN Runners Club uh Elementary School ATN Elementary School my school's running team plans Elementary School to run L although the race is the race fee is Curr 35 I'd like to know if I you if you could give us a reduced team rate for our entire team their school demographics are composed of many work and- class families please write back this seems to be possible if we could bring the registration fee down from to 15 or 20 for each of our local running how many students have we registered already for free no how many are hit hit okay and now hit discounts on the left and scho to REM student no 34 used 34 only 34 yeah we got tell to use Miami Lake students okay so Bill makes a motion yeah okay I make a motion to allow them use Min League students discount code and give it it's in their current APP and everything and the the founder of it is one of my coaches I believe the PSN run Club does meet every every like Saturday and Wednesday at there at the Veterans Park so even if it is or it's not it's a small group it's like eight people like that it's not like aund one people that the mining Lakes run so we can't give them the student B because they're not these are not kids they just meet at that school that's where they meet oh they're not kids they're not kids that they meet there are they saying they it's a run Club it's a runnner club oh it says my school's
