all right call meeting order and we'll take see who's here we have Alexander CLK Richard ceri KY yes okay we have the minutes uh to approve from the last meeting um draft came out and an interacting with Patty when she first put them together in draft form I obviously this is the earlier draft um I had asked her to indicate that the uh trustees discussed and approved to provide 25,000 from made funds so we knew where the money was coming from that is the so the only that's the only change I had yes was there an updated draft that I didn't print out uh you know I she sent it I made the comment and I think she wrote back in email it was an email and and uh I you know I can't say that you said it would be corrected so I mean I don't know if it ever another one was ever sent up Che okay so manuscript and the um source of the funds off 25,000 from nid funds funds that's it to cover the Lo bit and cover the just that insertion yeah that that's the only insertion and as corrected as corrected so I call for the approval of the minutes okay second approve okay okay that's that all right all right direct this report sure um so other than what I have written here uh we just got well the town got um a freedom of information request that includes us with a bunch of like invo for technology and stuff so right now I'm spending a bunch of time trying to pull those um to give to the request so that just popped up um do you know who made the request no I just got a a it sent me John over at it just asked if there's anything that he doesn't already have covered he get some of our bills uh which is unfortunately a lot because all of our databases are covered by that um so I'm looking at probably about 5 hours of work but we're getting it done okay um yeah that's just came here this week that's interesting um is it a townwide request yes so every department is as far as I know that's current so since June 2023 so just one like the newest invoice for each of those things so like for our database for ancestry whatever the newest invoice is since 2023 those kinds of things so we're call now for the entire Cal yeah uh whatever the newest one is yeah every Department I believe so yeah only one invoice is s whatever the newest one is yeah for each one so but whatever the newest one so the most current one yes okay all right so it's not not having to pull a years worth of no no no that was my original whatever the the newest the newest bill so yes in that period of time so if we got something in 2023 like in June of 2023 and we did not get it again so it so the June 23 bill but if we got another one in January it would be the January Bill we're going through that now so that did just pop up um I know that John's working on it and he's got way more than I have to this will be um seeking information for fiscal year 2024 yes yeah yes 7123 to 630 24 y it's interesting yeah so that just came up so it's the only thing that's not written up otherwise um yeah so we had that screen broke because the child R into it the child is fine the screen is fixed good okay um um window screen window screen I have no idea how well no screen covers yes window yes yes yes window SE I I looking for the no no no no no no windows screen um uh all the boxes are finally cleaned out um I've got three boxes of shredding that I need to deal with but other than that uh we're looking good the friends have their donation counter back um fill it up oh I'm sure but I don't have to deal with it and they'll be free to use it as they need which is great um so that's all set my office has been cleaned up for the most part um so I kind of now have a a good idea of what files we have uh and then we're just working on other staff spaces okay um oh yes I've been working on the emergency procedure manual that it looks like both the past two previous directors started and worked on um it is almost done I've made some tweaks to it I'm going to talk to the cheap police as soon as I can just verify some of the information on there but otherwise we're pretty much good to go um and then I'll be able to get that up to staff once I have that you guys can see okay yeah please yeah absolutely you have somebody assigned to the shredding no I have to see if they I don't know I I have yet to ask Town Hall if they do like a sh day um cuz it's like we have a very small Shredder and it is three large boxes SCH shredding yeah I would think there's firms that do this and I've had other towns have a shred day so I'm going to out M does it yeah yeah I'm going to figure out who's that if the town has a DAT they do it they may have somebody that they do exactly so that's on those um so uh assistant director search is pretty much over uh an offer went out today uh and that's getting all worked through um we had the second round interviews I had to Jo and we did those uh last Thursday followed up with references on Friday and then it's all set reference oh okay I would assume yeah I would be terrified if they weren't but yeah the candidate seems like the best fit and as soon as everything finalized I'll let you know more about them um but working on the aors report I'm probably about 70% done uh which is exciting um I've got to a couple different webinars on it to make sure I'm doing it all correctly um fy4 is all wrapped up we've already started off strong with fy2 um you'll see in the packet I have the fy4 um stats as well as the June stats um for fy2 I'm changing up W stats me included there some St that we juste yall want me to regroup what our most like posts are um so uh that'll get changed up but so that's all of the information from FY 24 and then I have the beginning of FY 25 a budget uh you'll notice that there's a 51% on Municipal supplies right now and that's because we did havec pay U and those are the big numbers I realized that when looking back to last year that wasn't included in the first budget PR out but it was in the budget um so I didn't watch but otherwise we're on track um the friends met in June and they approved uh a budget for programming and Museum passes we' had an increase um so our Museum passes we've actually just added the K Museum and the nor Children's Museum um yeah that felt very exciting um and summer reading is in full swing uh we've had a ton of summer programs already uh a lot of people have been here for those programs um the stem thing that is happening after Story Time right now is a huge hit um so that's been great also we now have um four cats well I think only a couple of more categories are down but we are doing the modern butterfly eggs again um and so they're all set up in the children's room we got four this year uh I know at least one maybe two have touched so y cool I think about it anyone's questions for me you have any pictures of them they're up on Facebook actually they're also so small right now yeah just checking along all right the uh new business the building updates okay we had the three projects that are on the books for us the generator um reached out to uh James last week he responded the generator contract is with Town Council so they're reviewing it he anticipated it will be you know done by the end of last week beginning of this week and then they'll be able to you know it'll be executed and they'll move on and get this thing going um The Roof is fully designed package will be out to bid by the end of July another week uh I don't have a specific day but he did say the end of July so that one's moving forward um the H hbac system um which is the one that everybody feels the most uh is uh in the design phase but it's kind of been put to the side and the design of a new hbac system for a portion of the new Bri elementary school has taken uh precedence over our design uh that has failed and they're trying to get that system up and repaired before school starts once that is done um they'll put us back into the mix in terms of design so the reality is it'll probably go out the bid sometime this fall um when we'll beond all the humidity yeah and it'll be replaced over the course of the the fall and winter and be ready for next summer sum it's still better than it was it's not horrible in here no this is comforable and also now that the heat has dropped from the '90s really yeah that good that's that's a big Improvement yeah so this is so that's basically the status of the projects that uh impacting this so you know old business one of the things that's still out there is the the need to find funding for an AED yeah so I I have I I'm pretty sure St is going to be where we're going to take it from okay um I just need to figure out if there's a place we can buy it that is like a cheaper option if there's like a contract I'm I'm going to reach out to the um have you you can go to OSD yep okay see what's there um I check them there's some other prices in other places the other one is what the um oh God on we put all of this stuff I love um yeah no it's so it's it's another a funding source that has contracts for colleges libraries public facilities and oh um yeah yes um I used to work with them on yeah we have continuous basis through Demco we have them set up as a contract okay and again what they do they do the same thing as OSD they put out public contracts and whoever responds to those they put them in the list and you can go to that and that's how we did yeah this system through them as we did the sheling in the U in the book room too we did that through them too um God I'll think of it in the middle of the night don't worry send me m or something no m is actually part of the um um o uh OSD operational that's com um I'll think this okay so I was going to reach out to the yeah see if there's already a contract in place it it it avoids the need to do any kind of bidding not that you have to for less than you know $10,000 this is this should be less than two um I was someplace recently and I saw just they got one here we need actually was it was the bank the institution for the sa I mean that's a good place to have it very all color buildings should yeah I was standing at the counter talking to the clerk and behind her was an a unable they don't want to lose any customers they don't just in case you're shocked by whatever they tell you you may need a shot that may happen yeah oh God it should really be in grocery absolutely yeah all right so that's that's in the works have a chief Evans or somebody will come along and train they've already been trained really yes staff is trained on P and a they were trained on uh the first day of CPR although they didn't get certificates so I need to reach out and find out because I don't know if it was that kind of training or if it was like an understanding training okay and it might have happened before we have some of the new MERS no I checked into the timing it was only a year ago not even okay so there are some new ones wasn't here yep um will wasn't here will wasn't here assistant director she accepts the drug y you you know so at least and a refresher course for everybody oh well yeah I want to see though if they never got certificates it means they didn't do the level of training in which they get certified to do it and I would like to do that so makes sense yeah uh but yes have been train on despite the cool yes despite yeah so we will get one and they they provided them every place in town by a grant that the town got yeah but they didn't put money here oh do yeah he told me this why I don't know that's all right we can get one and we'll put it in the put west side and then we at a um TR grant for or one in CU I ideally have two one in meeting room and one in the full library that way if we're closed this one can get used absolutely so but this one needs to happen first so okay we'll do that one still thinking no it's time we'll figure it up it'll come to you just email me in the middle of the night it's okay I won't see you till the next day anyway not R good any other business we're going to have to P things on this agenda oh we will okay yeah and I fully STA and I'm not drowning trying to do the state AG yeah report will be Ming one of the things that and I talked about is the fact that she's had this opportunity to kind of start clean things out yeah which then a tremendous job cleaning out files in your office and cleaning things up um and just moving on from that um having that opportunity to you know for everybody to kind of figure out what's going on and get everybody in place and in position and then start ratcheting up the activities as we get into the fall uh and I won't spend a lot of time talking about it but the this new assistant director has a lot of experience with uh adult programming uh so that's one thing that we have been lacking the kids have been doing terrific um but we need to get back to doing our adult program and get get people in this building and uing it so so hopefully she will you know provide that impetus for us so that's that's to S commed Like Pat just added to the list of attendees I don't know anything else good job question for you absolutely in the uh vesu outside the door here there's a whole bunch of stuff put the voting yes elections [Music] yes yes closet is full do we have access to that no and that's by Design yeah oh no absolutely makes sense course security and all that sure sure but I don't know that situation I have reached out to GR yeah and we did just book the room for um the November election and the uh September September September day after Labor Day yes including the Monday and the previous Friday be set up on both occasions um yes no that is if nobody Minds I would speak to Gretchen oh no fairly well yeah yeah I'm only on this board again because you pushing [Music] but we all know that public so no yeah I mean that's that's the handicap yeah okay I'm asking me when I'm coming back when are you going um I don't know not until the end of the summer anyway yeah that makes sense yeah can we just do we adour the meeting yes officially yes toj seeing no further business I move that we close the meeting okay seconded okay good
