And this is our Citizens comments section, um, dealing with anything but code enforcement, but it doesn't look like we have any citizens here tonight. So we'll go ahead and close that. And let's go ahead and start with our first case this evening, which is case number, sorry, gimme a second here. 2 0 2 4 dash 0 2 1 9 5. Good evening. Uh, case number is 0 2 1 9 5 is 1246 Russell Drive. This is, uh, officer Loeffler, city of Ocoee Code Enforcement on July 1st. This officer observed junk debris, trash landscape items in the front yard and easement as was described by the complainant on the same date of violation. Notice was posted at the location and sent out certified service by the clerk to the property owners Kim and Thomas Monks as identified by official records for violation of Ordinance 1 0 8 24 D sanitation prohibiting open storage of junk debris, rubbish and landscape, landscape debris, and Exhibit A here, that's the landscape debris you can't see right here. There is a kitchen sink and then over here is a pile of old fencing. So the pile on the left and the pile on the far right both have yellow tags from the city's, uh, public works department that it would not be picked up and who to contact. The owner was given until July 11th, 2024 to correct the violation on August 11th, 2024. Reinspection revealed non-compliance on August 15th. A notice to this hearing was posted at the location and in the city hall lobby and sent certified service by the clerk. As of this date, the location remains non-compliant. The city's recommending a 15 day compliance timeframe and a fine amount of $25 per day for every day, not in compliance with any issued orders. Uh, Mr. Chairman, I'd like to ask a Question. Go ahead. Officer Law, is that, is that the, the, um, kitchen sink inside of the, the debris? It's, yeah, it's in between the pile of wood and the, unfortunately it's not in the picture. No, it's okay. I see it. Oh, down here. Oh, I see it underneath. Yeah. Okay. Alright. Do any of the other board members have any other questions for the officer? Any contact with the homeowner? No, but there was a prior case that was before this board for other items at the property which did comply. So somebody comes and goes and is active there and the posting for the hearing was also removed by somebody. Mr. Chair, I'd like to make a motion. Yes. Uh, uh, member Lewis, Mr. Chair, I'd like to make a motion that in case number 2 0 2 4 dash 0 2 1 9 5, the respondent be found in violation of the code as cited as of July 11th, 2024 and be given until September 11th, 2024 to come into compliance or be fined $25 per day for violation until founding in compliance. 15 15, 15 Days. Yeah. Until September, September 11th. That's the 15, 15 days. Yeah. Do we have a second on this? Second. Second, Mr. Chairman. Okay. Alright, very good. We have a motion on the floor made by Member Lewis, seconded by Member Mann in the case number 2 0 2 4 dash 0 2 1 9 5, that the respondent be found in violation as of July 11th, 2024 and given until, uh, September 11th, 2024 to come into compliance or be fined $25 per day until it comes into compliance. Any discussion? All those in favor, press Yes. All those opposed press no votes in and passes unanimously. Thank You. Okay, next case is case number 2 0 2 4 0 2 4 4 3. Doris Ann Court Officer Loeffler, city of OCO Code Enforcement on July 15th, 2024 in response to a citizen complaint regarding overgrowing tall weeds and grass surrounding a shed with an open broken shed door with vines and growth covering the roof and sides of the shed. And the complainant lives on a different street. This is the complainant's house that shed is behind their property. You can see a second fence back there. So they get to look at all the tall weeds and grass and the vines in the shed every day On the same date. A violation notice was sent out to the property owners law Hamit Hamit as identified by official records for violation of 1 1 5 dash three B nuisance conditions and was provided until July 28th, 2024 to mow and cut the tall weeds and grass front and rear and side yards, close the sec and secure the shed door and remove the weeds vines off the shed, roof and sides. On July 29th, the location was reinspected and found non-compliant On August 15th, 2024, a notice to this hearing was posted at the location and posted in city hall lobby and sent out certified service by the clerk. As of this date, the property remains non-compliant. I've had no contact with the property owner, but they are there. They just didn't answer the door. The city's recommending a compliance timeframe of 15 days and a fine amount of $25 per day for every day. Not in compliance with any issued orders. I just have a question Is yes, is the shed part of the house? This yellowish house that's there that No, That is the complainant's house. That's the complainant's backyard or on the other side of the back fence That should belongs to a house on Doris and court. Okay. For some reason it's door faces the backyard of another house. So that grass that you're seeing is in the complainant's house or the That's in the violator house. That's part of the one with the, The shed. With the shed. I See. If you look close at that walkway, you can see the mow grass and then the, another fence back there and then the tall grass is behind that. Oh, okay. Okay. I was thinking the tall grass was in front of it. Right, right. Okay. Any other questions for the officer? No. Okay. Mr. Chairman, I'd Like Yes, member ma'am, I'd like To move that in case number 20 24 0 2 4 4 3, that the, uh, respondent be found in violation of code as cited as of July 28th, 2024 and be given, uh, until September 11th, 2024 to come in compliance or be fined $15 a day per violation until found in compliance.
