and then I guess we can open the hearing how come we don't make the hearing at the same time the meeting starts so we don't have to wait well because usually we have stuff to do yeah exactly usually there's things to do we approved some minutes already Darlene you'll be happy to know sweet yeah I get to meet John I'm sorry Robert and um giving everybody a chance to get to the meeting and set up a lot of times if you have the hearing right when the meeting starts you're waiting for members um so typically I don't like to do that but um I think the next one on November 6 is at 6:35 so everyone will have to you know log in promptly for that one so I do have some news unfortunately um the landuse coordinator is stepping down um she did an awesome job but she'll be leaving Townsend I just wanted to update the board that that position is is going to be open you don't seem to keep them very long we've been through a lot in the years I've been on the board yeah yeah so Vicky you want to read the hearing notice because by the time you finish that it'll be time to open it sure okay in accordance with mgl chapter 4A and the Townsen zoning bylaw the towns in zoning board of appeals will hold a remote access for virtual public hearing on Wednesday October 23rd 2024 at 6:45 p.m. on the application of 324 Main Street Partners LLC for special permits under the zoning bylaws section 14518 145-40 and 14565 the applicant is proposing to renovate an existing vacant gas station and convenience store located at 32 4 Main Street map 5050 Block 17 lot 0 the project includes reconstruction of an existing building to include a convenience store second floor office space and a coffee shop with drivethru service the project will also improve an existing Pump Station in canopy and provide eight fueling positions 24 marked parking spaces and a new sign location are also proposed the property is in the ra3 zoning district and the aquafer protection overlay District Public Access is remote only access to the meeting is VI via the published Zoom link that's your motion to open the hearing I'll second that all right pulling the members Vicki yes uh John yes Darlene yes and I'll yes you have 21 and 24 yeah the 21st is a Thursday no is that I'm sorry actually yeah the 21st is a Thursday right and then the 24th is actually a Sunday so I'm sure pretty sure we're not doing this on a Sunday um that's what's in letter um I don't think the state will let us do it on a Sunday so let me double check I just have an email from uh Our Town Council excuse me the 25th so Monday the 25th so the November 25th okay can you guys do a Monday or a Thursday or do you want Monday the 25th I'm not going to be around yeah that's Thanksgiving week okay let me look yeah we don't usually schedule things Thanksgiving meet so what's what was the other possibility 21st I think 21st and that's a Thursday I don't have a problem with a Thursday okay I'm available on Thursday the 21st I should be okay let's go for it can do it want me to redo that motion with time what what time are you thinking for that 6:30 6:30 works works right does that work for people can anybody do any earlier like yeah like that you and our emails you include the zoom link as well so we don't have to go searching for it so we have like the agenda and the zoom link that's like perfect okay whatever your last email is that's what I click on it's the latest awesome and um never have a problem logging in when you do that okay what was it what was the time again 6:30 let me double check on that oh wow I'll I'll have to email you but it's going to be I'll set up the meeting five minutes prior I want to say 645 um is the hearing so okay but again I don't have the paperwork in front of me unfortunately all right you so it either be 6:30 and the hearing starts at 6:35 or you'll come in at 6:40 and the hearing will start at 6:45 okay and there's only one hearing that night and boy didn't want a s sidewalk for that right I me I'm W I'm happy to do any site walks or any if the board wants any per which one is November 6 uh one Depot Street Extension oh oh okay Rel from the age restricted development by yeah it might be useful for people to take a look at that lot yeah would you like to have a a site visit okay well look at your calendars and I'd be happy to set that up so the hearing's on the 6th with this Wednesday um if you want uh Monday November 4th um I've got a planning board meeting at 630 but you know if you wanted to come out at like 6 I think it' be need to be earlier dark oh good good point it'll be be daylight savings time anymore so it'll be dark at 4:30 so we probably ought to be at like 4 o'clock or so want to see it and some some kind of light Vick do you have flexibility during the day or um yeah I do at times and it looks like I don't have anything right now so I just need to book it in my calendar what about a lunch time for everybody who's I don't know if that Rob what about what about your schedule I work out of the house so anytime I can I can make things work if I know yeah I'm actually I haven't heard actually gonna be Haven any what's up Bill I haven't heard any consensus on the time uh I think Robert was saying he might be away that day I'm gonna be away actually the week of the 4th I'm GNA be away so I actually I'll miss the hearing on the sixth too well actually the hearing is virtual I can do that yeah um that would be really helpful we'll get you up to speed pretty quickly but right now the board has been uh four member board for a while so we're very excited to have you um so that we can yeah I can do the hearing on the sixth and I can I can go by and look at the site perfect yeah and I'll take you out there if you want um you know I'd be happy to do that you just stop by town hall and I'll bring you over there okay Prov plans and okay yeah yeah if if you want to do it at new time on the 4th I I can do that I can work from home that day let me ask a question I'm assuming the building's going to be a tear down so we're really just looking at the lot is that no um at this point you really can't discuss the details of the hearing right right I'm doing it as a point of what what we should look at if we just need to walk around the lot we could all just kind of go on our own um it depends on what you need us to see does it do you need to point anything out because yes we can't discuss the hearing until it opens no I don't think I think it it would be good for you to take a look at the lot that's all yeah so it doesn't have to be a formal meeting why don't we all just kind of go at our Leisure and just walk if it's okay with the owner let him know okay you might see some weird zoning people floating around looking around no problem sure will sounds good each can go on their own yeah love it stop by yeah stop by the land use office if you want to pick up the print copy of the um the site plan so you know what can add
