meetings act statement yes provisions of the open public meeting Act was uh published or was complied with published published in and park and the time being meeting thank you roll please Mr Mr Martin here Mr Colangelo here Mr here Mr here Mr Peterson here mayor Marshall here thank you all right please stand for I alance to the flag of the United States of America and to the rep stands one nation God indivisible with liy and justice for all all right next is presentation which we have none but I'm going to ask Calvin the light where the lights on no the trees live okay everybody's question thank you for going out and checking on that um number number six on our agenda is legislation councilman AG thank you Mrs mayor I have nothing official this evening just would like to wish everyone have happy holiday Merry Christmas and happy New Year all right thank you very much that's all I have set the stage for us all here all right next is finance councilman Martin uh thank you m I do have four resolutions this evening um but I wanted to address or talk about two things before I get to the resolutions um hey Calvin thank you for going down and looking uh I have been in touch with Ocean County the breaker boxes inside the county building there for the light on the lake um after the heavy rains the other day I'm guessing water got into a plug or something somewhere and popped it I cannot get into the building so I've asked the county they were supposed to go today to check on it but maybe with the weather being bad it didn't go out on the lake to to see as well but um yes we are aware that the tree is out and hopefully tomorrow it'll be back up and on um thank you number two is uh a week and a half ago I attended a summit for presented by Ruckers University for the beneficial use of dredge material for Mar restoration um it was an 8 Hour Summit and there was probably about 60 to 70 attendees there uh I'm happy to say I was the only I guess you'd say elected official that attended um one of the big kind of conversations that was going on is getting Municipal involvement they want to get all the towns involved something every time it was you know hand up and we're here and we're ready um there's been kind of a a change in philosophy with the D and even fish and wildlife where for such a long time it's been you know let's do these programs and let's focus on doing the least harm to everything there's been a shift lately into instead of doing the least harm what can we do that is the most good uh for marsh restoration part of that being is a thin layer deposition pumping dredge materials that are already here out back onto the marshes doing plannings encouraging growth and um it was like I said it was 8 hours but there was a lot of really good information I met a lot of people I met people from the do uh again D Virginia re was there from foresight there was a lot of Fish and Wildlife there was a lot of uh Engineers there uh to kind of go over it again one of the biggest issues is funding these project uh projects and then a couple days after that there was the announcement um I saw on Jeff Andrew's Facebook of the coastal resiliency act uh is going through now to try to Fen the law which is going to free up more money to do these kind of projects so again I'm trying to keep Tucker in at the Forefront of this um specifically work on Thompson's Creek king fisher Lagoon do the marsh regation there using the material that's easily available right there and hydraulically pumping makes it you know not so costly as mechanically dredging it um I'm attending another followup they call it a Coffee Talk in January with the um Coastal resiliency commission and that is headed up by I believe um the Jac custo branch and Lisa AR I've already signed up and registered for that to attend that so I want to just kind of keep Tucker in at the Forefront of this and hopefully we can you know be kind of the guinea pig for for what's going on um do actually was very promising uh listening to Mike talk from there they're they're ready to go they just need places to put the dredge material as they dredge and that's been kind of their biggest hang up over the last 15 20 years it's there's nowhere to put it so they can't really just cut through and dredge but um using it for marsh restoration gives them a place to put it and put it instantly so they can move from one project to the next to the next and move efficiently through so a lot of good stuff came out of that I'm more than happy to share more information I shared it with the paradise Coen uplanders Association at their Christmas party um I'll reach out to the TBA uh for their next meeting I'll share more details on that but if anybody wants more information on that or um even see what they can do for who to contact to help I'm more than happy to give a list of names that that I got from there thank you that's it for that update so I'll get into resolutions do you have anything for us this evening merry Christmas and happy holidays okay thank you very much Madam clerk as well merry Christmas happy holidays uh everybody be safe all right fine so got to come back to you it's your turn now again uh so T's pride and celebrations committee held yield Christmas and T in on uh December 7th we couldn't have asked for better weather that day um the the turn out was fantastic and I wanted to take a minute to thank everybody uh that participated from the Methodist Church doing the live nativity to the the Pineland thesbian uh group they were awesome if you didn't get a chance to see them they had um 15 of their actors were dressed in full Dickens uh outfits and and in character for I think 8 hours they did out walking around um they sign a couple carols and stuff it was it was a really neat addition this year to it and they've already requested to be part of it again next year and try to get even more kids and they're going to work in more uh carols and stuff into the the routine um but all in all I as always I get I'm overworking the horse and carriage ride so I don't really get to go see most of what else is going on I didn't get to get any clam chowder uh from the hisor society but I heard from everybody that was involved that they had a really really nice turnout on Saturday uh I did think that the the tree lighting on the lake was really cool went off nicely I wish the tree was still lit but we'll get it relit um again no need to text me and tell me that the tree's out I know it's out um and uh yeah it was a very nice event our next event for pride and celebration will be on New Year's Day January 1st we'll be doing the bonfire behind the Methodist Church that we were supposed to do for um Halloween and it was rescheduled for that and then uh I did just get a text message that it is all set and good so also on January 1st uh the 4th of July um Fireworks committee is going to be putting on a fireworks show at 600 p.m. out of the lake so uh again that is January 1st it is not New Year's Eve so don't show up New Year's Eve and stand out there it's New Year's Day at 6:00 there will be a firework show out over the lake and then that is all oh that's that's good I'm glad that's going through 6m we put a lot of time and effort into seeing that this gets that this happens so uh please come out if you are around and rest warm if it stays cold let's see was are there any other committee commission board reports all right I move to open the public for second all right I have a motion in a second to open public for all in favor please remember we have a five minute rule uh so we have someone to than last good evening Mr hi 121 will land car Tucker um as I put an email after last meeting I made a mistake uh there was two first aid calls at that house I mentioned over by DS and he went over to help our Lo but it was the respiratory not the one where him to went down where the police officer they didn't bring the oxygen so I just wanted to let you know it's a wrong call but it did happen Okay next thing I like to address somebody sent me a copy of some of the minutes from the T Beach Association and said that Council mik PRI said that the uh fire the state shut down the firehouse that's not true the state doesn't have the authority to shut down a firehouse the burough did it because they got a letter saying you know things that said we're unsafe the state did not shut down the firehouse It also says that Mike Dei told um certifications were not F followed from the state well our certifications we are Mr Sub like they claimed I did not buy ms200 which is in a command certification lot of people have that I have certificate set I took the class NO3 I have IMS 300 and 400 which 200 is a prerequisite there's no question I took the CL but the state record keeping is something by the same token we open requested like I build you before in March and nobody in Parker town was qualified to respond to Fires at that time according to the same state stats that you signed us on just for your information okay so um I think you need to go take back what you said down there spread false information okay Mike I was putting out what I was told especially from the state you did not have the the the state did not shut us down the burrow did that's a false statement if you don't know what you're talking about keep your mouth shot please Mr drer you have spread so much information and that you're no you come up here and you yell at every person you accuse us of being corrupt it's time for self-reflection all I can say you can find any corruption on me charge me Mike well okay after I get done my 5 minutes you get out of here what I wanted to say about this ladder truck you sold I'm GL he did pretty good from what I understand we got over 1.3 million for that the high bid is that correct yes over 1.3 million now back at the beginning of the year one the officials from Lacy got a hold of me wanted to know how much I wanted for the stuff on the truck that I own so they could included in their bid and at that time I was told the bur was going to pass it over to Lacy for what they had in which was well under a million dollars and I sent you the stuff on one being sold it's older than ours for 1.2 million so I'm glad that you went out to bid and did what you did for the good of the town and if that helped you make if what we sent you helped make the town extra $300 something th000 that's good first off yeah I will okay after I get done not done yet okay okay now we had a letter from your attorney that you were going to transfer title to rescue truck tonight to Parker town okay I didn't hear that happen or anything but I don't know what you're going to get for it for transfering the title and again I just want to let you know same company was here to bid on our truck but didn't bid because the biding got to high they had a Truck 3 years older than ours similar body style it's a freight liner TR Ys at Kenworth has a lot of same equipment on has a a generator has a Cascade system they were asking 90,000 it says here it's sold I don't know if they got quite that but I just want to let you know the value of these trucks might be more than what you think and it might not be a good idea to transfer a rescue truck to Parker town anyway because they're dangerous several years ago I got call from the hospital that oh uh Chief we're sorry but we have to tell her we think she already knows what are you talking about oh well fire accidentally cut her toe off in an accident well that was Parker Town not us okay so you know if people are going to go around misstating things at tuer Beast Association and cut on people's toes I don't really want to respond to my calls okay enough said thank you very much so he's finished I would like to interject so the sale of the fire truck has absolutely nothing to do with what Mr Edgard is saying there was no deal in place with Lacy uh by law we have to put the fir truck out the bid that was the plan that was the plan the entire time was to go out to bid to the highest bidder so while he likes to stand up and say that you know this was all happen there was no deal in place with Lacy there was no sweetheart deal with with our burough attorney's office um in fact we've been touch with many municipalities that were interested in the truck that were initially giving way higher amounts than than what he's trying to say uh Lacy was going to be buying it for so that was absolutely 100% not how that played out it was going out to bid the entire time um as far as I will chime in on mr's statements at the Tucker and Beach Association since I was there and I actually heard and I'm not reading what somebody else second or third hand is writing down I believe and I could be mistaken because it is going back a while but I believe what Mr Dupri said was that the tuer and fire department is shut down by no fault other than themselves it was a letter that came from the state that recommended that they were not in compliance and that is why we shut it down so if the tar and Beach secretary writes down Mr Dupri says this I don't know why you assume that that is a direct quote I read their minutes it's Snippets it is not a transcript but you know that all too well but it's easy enough for you to put it on Facebook like this guy's lying in this guy saying it much like how you say councilman Martin said at a council meeting if we don't resign he's going to assess taxes on our building find me that find where I said that if you don't resign watch the video find where you said if you don't resign I going to put taxes on your building and I will resign from this counil you're going to revoke our tax exempt status what did the leadership of the fire company resign go ahead find it and bring it Forward find for you put forward that and I will resign from this Council because it was two completely separate meetings it was two completely separate meetings where I said that and if I'm wrong I will eat my words but I went back and I watched them and they're separated by almost 6 months the two meetings that I said it but it doesn't fit what you want to put out on social media and that's all I have there thanon I'd like to just real quick Mr AER is notorious he's lifelong member of the the fire company Tuckerton not parkertown like he told Piha he filed a false report with Piha which got turned down um with not withstanding the actual facts he misrepresented himself as being a life member of Parker town which he never was Nor never will be that's a lie I'll send you a copy of the certificate you haven't proven anything to anybody Le except the fact that you call every one of us corrupt if you have facts that we are corrupt Bring It Forward press charges if not go on with you're going to say I'm corupt I want to see that say you were corrupt I didn't say that you called us corrupt we are not we are doing the best we can for this town and you have nothing better to do than come up here and blow out all kinds of misinformation you tell people you hand feed them what you want to know and you say oh don't look at this look at this they did this the fact of the matter is it was what tuckeron didn't do that got them remove moveed as a fire department end the story it doesn't matter it's my T you had your time you had your chance to do what was right by the state and guess what lo and behold you didn't do it and that's why there is no tuck and Fire Company it's not because of anybody on here it's because of you you failed to do the right thing you failed to do what every other Fire Company in the area has done and to add matters worse what did you go and do you went and turned in every single fire company in the area for what you did and guess what the state found no issue with any other Fire come a except Tucker that's on you and that's your honor that's all I have to say all right fine thank you amen appreciate it anyone else now the storm over so I just want to thank you wish everybody a Merry Christmas thank Brian for coming to our meeting and tell us about the JY and what's going on I have some gifts for everybody on the council except for Brian P he already got his um these are made by one of our neighbors they handled the party and it's something some of you may not know well I mean you know get on the back of my jacket but at the end of Thompson's Creek there's a tripod that one of our deceased neighbors made years ago and we are constantly putting an American flag up so they made these little Christmas ornaments everybody gets one of the tripod and how I say Merry Christmas Even on it these are special order a party I to ask for more thank you but um Merry Christmas sorry Jenny I forgot about there you go Merry Christmas more positive not Jenny can't put on thanks Paul and thanks to your [Music] Association to get up Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to everyone and happy birthday to our mayor thank you evening Mr Martin how are you to Martin 181 Santa Cruz Road tuckeron the great PE of tuckeron New Jersey took me several years to get out of little Lake Harbor but I made it and we welcome here I'm here to complain but not to you don't you back out I'm here to complain because I had to sit on Great Bay Boulevard for almost I swear it was a minute to a minute and a half you probably we know how many seconds it takes to change how long does it take to get to where you have hours that you can make a right turn the I'm I'm old enough to remember the whole reason for the right turn on red was to save gasoline during a uh during the fuel crunch crisis and and I'm sitting there this and I'm I'm almost embarrassed that I'm sitting there waiting while nothing goes by on Route n and there are five cars backed up behind me and I know they are all cussing the heck out of that guy in that in that pickup truck for not just going so I'm asking if I go to Ocean County someplace I I wouldn't even know where to start but if I go to Ocean County I'm going to be just one voice but maybe you folks may I ask that maybe you folks or somebody could kind of represent the citizenry of Tuckerton and make a couple of phone calls and say hey we're you know we're on the hot seat here or whatever you say I won't put words in my mouth like some people may uh but it's uh but but it would be a big help I think if if that were happy New Year all right happy here to you thank you yes I actually just spoke to the County engineer two or three weeks ago oh about that yes um that intersection with the putting time limits on it and at 4th and 5:39 about doing a delayed um green hour or something for the ter we bed several times over the last few years I think it is but I finally got a a phone call from one of the engineers who tried up two three weeks ago we just discussed it all so when I get more information I'll that he didn't have information at the time no I just expressed he told me about a different matter okay and I gave my concern about those I knew you'd be on top of it I I did have any other comments move to close the public for second a motion second to close public for all in favor any opposed motion to adjourn second all right a motion and a second to adour but before I ask I want to make sure that I get my U my what is it wishing everybody a Merry Christmas Happy New Year happy holidays uh be safe and enjoy yourselves and your family all right so all in favor any oppos all right have a good one guys jary we will be here at noon correct yes [Music]
