In addition to the developments regarding the Paramore Heritage overlay District, the council voted to extend the temporary moratorium on the acceptance, processing, and consideration of development orders, building permits, and zoning approvals for nightclubs in the downtown Orlando Community Development Area.

During the meeting, Mayor Buddy Dyer announced the appointment of Michelle McCrimon as the new Chief Financial Officer. McCrimon brings 13 years of experience in the Deputy CFO role and is expected to continue the city’s financial management and strategic planning. The mayor also recognized Chris McCullion for his 18 years of service as he transitions to a CFO role at OU, illustrating a period of change and continuity within the city’s financial leadership.
