Supporting the town’s economic vitality, updates on new business openings were shared, including Farity, Brase Italia, and Tako Doo Takara, along with the upcoming Smalltown Play Cafe. These additions to the local business landscape promise to enrich the town’s cultural and economic fabric.

Financial governance was addressed through resolutions authorizing the Chief Financial Officer to manage Recreation Department fee refunds, dog license transactions, and property acquisition payments.

The council concluded with motions approving peddler’s licenses and children’s amusement device licenses, as well as general ordinances on first reading to amend the land use ordinance and the town code.
