The celebration opened with a musical performance. The kindergarteners performed several songs as part of the ceremony, singing about the United States, their school experiences, and the various roles they might choose in the future, like artists, teachers, police officers, and veterinarians.

The students shared a poem about their kindergarten experience, highlighting the skills they’ve gained, like writing their names and tying their shoes. The children expressed their learning through a song that covered academic subjects such as reading, writing, and math, as well as school activities including snack time and making projects.

A notable moment of the event was the personal acknowledgment of each student. As the names of the children were called out, they received ceremonial certificates with the mention of receiving real certificates in their take-home buckets along with gifts from the PTO, including bubbles and commemorative shirts.
