In addition to the transmission line project, the commission voted in favor of issuing a certificate of compliance for a real estate development on Brier Road Lane and granted a request for a negative determination of applicability for a power company project on Route 24 South. This determination allows the power company to rebuild transmission lines and access structures in Fall River without further conservation review.

The commission also dealt with several property development issues, including a tabled restoration plan for a property on Indian Town Road awaiting further resolution of outstanding items. An update on B Rock Road was provided, with an expectation for additional fill placement and restoration completion by fall. Discussions on adopting a fee structure were postponed due to pending finalization of state plans. Similarly, the commission tabled discussions regarding the request for determination of applicability for a property on Ferry Street and a notice of intent for a property on Innovative Way, both pending further consultation and plan revisions. A notice of intent for a property on Shannon Street was discussed, leading to the commission’s recommendation for an order of conditions due to modifications in the proposed grading and the provision of regulated pond elevation.

The commission faced a setback with an item concerning a notice of intent for an existing commercial site improvement on Airport Road, which was tabled due to the absence of proper documentation. However, they successfully resolved a request for an extension permit for orders of conditions for a property on Fieldstone Lane prompted by a previous violation letter and enforcement order.

Lastly, the commission granted a request for a negative determination of applicability for the Fall River Development Authority project at Northfield Point, facilitating the recreational use of the land.
