The board considered this alongside the potential for increased traffic and parking demand in the neighborhood due to the success of local businesses. Moreover, specific concerns about enforcement of existing parking regulations were voiced.

In relation to other streets, the meeting touched upon various requests and proposals. One notable topic was the request to change Cambridge Street to one-way from Oxford to Lap during school hours, with an added restriction of no parking on one side. This measure aimed to mitigate traffic congestion and improve safety for school children. The board approved a request for 15-minute parking on DOA Street from 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. daily.

A debate also arose over the implementation of a full-way stop sign on Rodman Street, which was ultimately tabled. Additionally, the board addressed requests for handicap parking spaces across the city, with some approvals and a denial based on the availability of off-street parking and the applicant’s driving status.
