Environmental issues were another point of contention, with resident Mark Cooper highlighting pollution problems following his recent arrest in an affected area. Peterson questioned the motives behind the meeting, asking, “why we here tonight besides trying to get rid of him,” and expressed a desire to contribute positively through a role in code enforcement.
