A commissioner expressed satisfaction with the restaurant’s improvements but highlighted the importance of further outreach to neighbors before finalizing any decisions regarding the extended hours. Ultimately, the Commission approved Lupita Restaurant’s request, noting the establishment’s efforts to balance business operations with community concerns.

In addition to these significant approvals, the Commission also addressed other applications, including that from Blessed Mother of the Morning Star Parish and St. Mary’s Church for a one-day malt wine common victualer and entertainment license for a spaghetti dinner dance. The event, aimed at raising funds for the church, was scheduled for October 26, 2024, and the application received unanimous approval without opposition.
