The board also approved additional appropriations for revenues and expenditures for May 2022, recognizing anticipated revenues. Bills for June and July were reviewed and approved, with the totals amounting to $5,099,589.38.
Substantial personnel actions were also made during the meeting. Among them were the hiring of new teachers and paraprofessionals, such as Kelsey Tully and Haydy Noufal. Stefanie Heslin was appointed as a BCBA Behaviorist, a key role in assisting students with behavioral challenges. Several staff members for after-school home programming and services were approved, and there were also staff adjustments involving resignations and new hires.
Moreover, the board approved motions to pay additional compensation for Clubs and Activities Program, Office Support, Home Programming and Parent Training Home Program, and Home Instruction on an as-needed basis.
The meeting concluded with transportation matters, where the board approved the 2022-2023 Quote Results for Summer Set 1 and awarded Route S608 to All Points.
