The planning board has yet to make a formal recommendation on the proposed zoning changes, but the public hearing was closed, meeting legal requirements ahead of the town meeting. This forum aims to further discuss and clarify the proposed changes to community members.
Additionally, the committee discussed the logistics and effectiveness of recent public budget forums, noting low resident turnout despite efforts to enhance transparency and communication through detailed presentations and online postings. The committee remains open to suggestions for improving public engagement and understanding of town financial matters.
