The campground report highlighted a phased opening, with full occupancy expected by Memorial Day weekend despite initial weather-related limitations. Furthermore, a new fuel pump for the marina was approved, addressing the six-week lead time for parts.

Additional topics included the Great Lakes Cities Initiative, with the mayor securing $120,000 in grant funding for environmental improvements in Boulder Park and the Coast Guard station area. This initiative focuses on green solutions to manage shoreline erosion while maintaining boater access.
