The festival’s logistics, including overflow parking and security arrangements, were discussed to ensure a smooth event.

In addition to the festival, the council reviewed a proposal for three new pickleball courts on West Fourth Street. The courts will include a ticket office and bathrooms. A concern was raised about the lighting, specifically the foot-candle levels at the nearby railroad tracks. The council is looking into possible adjustments to ensure compliance with local lighting codes.

The meeting also covered development projects, including revisions to the Low Family Warehouse’s construction site plan. The warehouse’s building area is set to decrease, and the zoning is classified as light industrial. The project’s applicant confirmed that most previous comments had been addressed, with only minor administrative tasks remaining, such as combining documents into a single PDF for approval.
