They recognized the importance of developing strategic partnerships with local businesses to extend library services and acknowledged a gap in community feedback, proposing a survey as a solution. The importance of a 10-year facility plan was also noted, though not yet initiated, as part of long-term planning.

Electra Branwin, formerly known as Amanda St. John, reported on staffing changes, welcoming back Anne Ward as a library clerk and noting ongoing recruitment for a librarian and additional library clerk position. The board also celebrated successful library programs, including a basket-making workshop and an Indigenous People’s Day celebration, both praised for removing cost barriers and providing unique learning experiences.
