The superintendent provided an update on upcoming data releases from the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE), which would include staff attendance metrics. She also outlined plans to focus on grade configuration discussions in subsequent meetings, specifically highlighting the fifth and eighth grades. This approach aims to facilitate more targeted and manageable conversations about potential configuration changes.

In an uplifting segment of the meeting, the superintendent congratulated Silus Gardner, a student who secured the Division 2 state championship in cross-country for the second year running.
