A focus of the meeting was the Bronson Street roadway reconstruction project. Following a report from the city engineer, the board confirmed that the project complied substantially with approved plans. The project, which involved reconstructing a private way from Frederick Street to August Street, was initially approved in December 2024. The final as-built plan was reviewed, and it was noted that requested adjustments, such as lighting at intersections and a hammerhead turn for fire department access, were satisfactorily completed. The board voted unanimously to issue a certificate of completion, signaling the project’s successful conclusion.

The board also addressed several applications for property division. Notably, the plan to divide property on Cambridge Street into two lots, each maintaining existing multi-family dwellings, was endorsed. A similar endorsement was granted for properties at 860 and President Avenue, following their receipt of special permits allowing the subdivision. Another plan, involving property on Pitman Street and Marino Street, was approved after a variance was granted for side setbacks. Additionally, a proposal to divide property on New Boston Road into two conforming lots was endorsed after a previous variance request to build a triplex was denied.
