Additionally, Ed Kenny was elected as the vice president of the board. Kenny, who was also the only nominee, received unanimous approval in the roll call vote. The reorganization meeting continued with the introduction of newly elected board members Mary Tadley, Michael Bramhall, and Robert W. McGuff, who were sworn in following their victory in the November 2025 election.

The meeting also involved the approval of the district’s mission statement, which emphasizes educating students to become self-motivated, multifaceted, and responsible citizens. The board unanimously approved the mission statement, which will guide the district’s priorities and initiatives through the 2026-2027 academic year.

Personnel appointments included Melissa Wilkey as the board secretary, public agency compliance officer, and district purchasing agent. These appointments, along with several organizational items, were approved without opposition.
