Subsequently, the board moved to elect a new president and vice president. Mrs. Tamika Gilbert-Floyd and Mr. Lou Della Barca were nominated for the presidency. Following a roll call vote, Mrs. Gilbert-Floyd secured the position with six votes. Mr. Michael Price was the sole nominee for vice president, receiving unanimous support from the board members, solidifying his role.
