This initiative is part of a broader effort by New Jersey to expand its film industry, with new studios planned in Fort Monmouth and Bayonne. The board agreed to further explore the opportunity, considering the significant revenue that could be generated from such partnerships. It was noted that any agreement would first involve understanding the terms, such as exclusivity agreements and financial arrangements, before advancing further.

The meeting also saw the certification of recent election results, with Britney Simmons and Jake Little recognized for their roles on the board. Additionally, board leadership positions were filled, with nominations and votes conducted for the roles of president and vice president.
