The meeting commenced with the election of Walter Kilpatrick as the new chairman of the Planning Board. Kevin Barry was elected as vice chairman, further solidifying the leadership team. Recognizing the importance of legal and planning expertise, the board unanimously awarded the contract for planning board attorney to Richard Brigley and appointed John Barry as the professional planner for the year 2026.

In addition to leadership appointments, the board engaged in essential administrative functions, including the appointment of Valerie Lackey as board secretary and Michael Kovalars as the professional engineer. The board also approved the use of the North Jersey Herald and News, Bergen Record, and the Little Falls website for all legal notices and advertisements for 2026.
