The draft has been reviewed by a subcommittee of board members including Mayor Maggie Miggins, Gaston Ryan Haupert, and Debra Nevas, in addition to the recreation director and the business administrator. The board has also engaged with a larger stakeholder group encompassing the Milbourne Environmental Commission.

The process update was presented by the board planner, who clarified that the aim is to give the public ample time to review the document and provide feedback. Although the document will be posted online this month, a full introduction to the document will be made in a January meeting. This will give the newly reorganized board and the public a chance to ask questions and further scrutinize the document before any decision is made, potentially in February.

The board planner emphasized the importance of a thorough public review, suggesting a near two-month period for comments and feedback. The planner also noted that a public outreach summary will be posted alongside the draft, providing a comprehensive overview of the feedback received during the outreach period.
