Another noteworthy discussion centered on Tand Corporation, operating as Old Harbor Market, which sought to change its license classification to a retail package store for all alcoholic beverages. Concerns about the saturation of liquor licenses in South Boston were initially raised. However, after considering the considerable support for the change, the board voted unanimously to approve the application. This decision highlights the board’s responsiveness to community opinions while balancing regulatory considerations.

During the meeting, several establishments sought approval for license transfers. Elasti Corp., doing business as Napper Tandies, requested to transfer its license to LH Roslandale LLC, operating as Laosienda, at the same location.
