Similarly, David and Marcy Barnes, of 38 Squibnocket Drive, requested a continuance until August 12th to address a comprehensive staff report regarding their request to replace a piling and seek retroactive permission for retaining walls and other alterations. In another case, 15 Dairyland LLC’s request to construct a common dock also faced a continuance until July 22nd, pending zoning clarification and responses to staff comments.

The commission addressed a violation case involving Mary Ann Peschicho on Kitty Cod Road. The property owners, having engaged engineering assistance, sought a continuance until August 22nd to comply with existing orders of conditions. During votes on orders of conditions, the commission tackled several projects, including the John G. Melchiona Trust on Beach Street, which involved restoring a vista and mitigating an unpermitted deck. The Grilli Revocable Trust on Beach Street sought permissions for a sunroom removal and garage addition, highlighting the need for prior permissions before building permit approval.

The case of James Pellow and Robin Shemmick on Walker Street involved raising and rebuilding a dwelling with grading revisions and tree removals. Despite outstanding issues, the commission agreed these could be addressed during the order conditions process.
