The meeting also addressed a petition from Los Cavayeros Market, Inc., which requested a change in its license category to include all alcoholic beverages. Represented by Francisco Marte, the market highlighted its long-standing community presence and commitment to customer service. The board reiterated the importance of maintaining the market’s non-alcohol offerings.

Finally, Wagamama Boston 1 LLC sought to transfer its license from Faneuil Hall Marketplace to SBCS LLC, doing business as Picolino, at a new location. The proposed Italian day-to-night café aimed to serve a mature clientele, offering a combination of handcrafted espresso drinks and sharable pre-dinner plates. The board took this application under advisement, appreciating the concept’s focus on community engagement.
