The report highlighted numerous safety recommendations, with many already in place. The thoroughness of the assessment and the swift implementation of recommendations garnered praise from the board. The district Safety Committee also convened to discuss ongoing safety strategies, and the “Pitbull team” was acknowledged for their role in enhancing surveillance capabilities across the district.

The Personnel Committee brought forward reports on hiring, which included new math teachers for the high school and additional staff to support the upcoming kindergarten registration night.
