Organizers hope to foster a community-focused atmosphere and boost local commerce, with plans to expand the event in future years.

In other business, the council approved several bond ordinances, including a $1,653,000 bond for capital improvements and a $985,000 bond for sewer system upgrades. These investments cover essential projects like road improvements, park equipment installations, and updates to the borough’s library and hall facilities. Additionally, a $2,435,000 bond was passed to fund water system enhancements.
