At the recent Chaska Planning Commission meeting, the commission approved the preliminary site and building plan for Beckman Coulter’s expansion on Lake Hazeline Drive. This expansion is expected to add approximately 300 jobs to the area and enhance the company’s manufacturing capabilities. Beckman Coulter, a company specializing in biomed testing products, plans to expand their existing facility with a two-story addition totaling 148,000 square feet. The expansion will include increased parking capacity to accommodate the additional workforce, maintaining two shifts of operations with a full-service cafeteria and outdoor amenities for employees. The building will feature significant glass openings and concrete materials, aligning with the existing structure’s design.
