Dr. Lissa Massaga and Ms. Brenda Pacho were sworn into office following their successful election, with Massaga securing 1,289 votes (23.2%) and Pacho garnering 1,242 votes (22.44%). The swearing-in ceremony included the presence of their families.

Following the inauguration of new board members, Trustee Bennett Minnie was nominated and elected as the new Board President, assuming the role with a unanimous vote from the board. Upon election, he expressed his gratitude and the desire to continue the progress made by the outgoing President, Lewis Munoz. Nicole Ditis was also elected as Vice President, completing the new leadership team.

Superintendent Dr. TOMCO and Board Attorney Jonathan Bush provided remarks acknowledging the past achievements of the board and the ongoing challenges, emphasizing the importance of collaboration to meet the district’s academic and infrastructure needs.

The meeting also covered administrative formalities, including the approval of meeting dates and the student code of conduct for the year. The board’s agenda touched on curriculum and instruction, personnel, and board policy, although no specific items required discussion or action in these areas.
