Recognizing the contributions of local law enforcement, a retired nurse praised the Police Department, emphasizing the importance of acknowledging their efforts in ensuring the safety and well-being of the community.

In a gesture of inter-municipal support, Mayor Omar Nickerson from the neighboring city of El Portal expressed appreciation for Biscayne Park’s support and presented a crystal gift to the commission.

The commission also welcomed a new volunteer for the Parks and Parkways Advisory Committee.
