The venue, set to open in late February, aims to cater primarily to an adult crowd, with operating hours proposed until midnight on weekdays and 2 a.m. on weekends. The applicant withdrew the karaoke component following community concerns. The venue plans to offer a flexible atmosphere with a disc jockey to control music dynamically.

Community engagement has played a critical role in shaping the proposal. The Neighborhood Association of the Back Bay did not oppose the project as long as karaoke was excluded. The applicant assured the board of robust noise mitigation measures, including non-opening windows and soundproofing materials, to prevent disturbances. Furthermore, Swingers confirmed the presence of 20 internal and 2 external security cameras, with footage retained for 30 days, along with a commitment to submit detailed operational and security plans.
