The first ordinance, No. 26-002, amends the future land use map, changing approximately 0.72 acres of the property from Special High Density Residential to General Commercial. This change allows the restaurant to utilize the space more effectively for its development needs. Simultaneously, the remaining 0.61 acres retain their Special High Density Residential designation, preserving the existing residential zoning for that portion of the property.

The second ordinance, No. 26-003, was also passed unanimously, altering the official zoning map. This change reclassifies the designated area from an Industrial Planned Unit Development (IPUD) to a Commercial Community zone, aligning with the restaurant’s objectives for commercial use.

Additionally, the commission approved a major site plan review for the construction of a 4,733 square-foot structure for Josie’s Restaurant.
