In honor of their achievements, the mayor proclaimed December 10th, 2025, as Brick Memorial High School Football Team Day. Acknowledging a key figure in the team’s success, December 11th was declared Walt Curry Day. Coach Curry, the winningest coach in the school’s history with 116 victories, expressed his gratitude, highlighting the collective efforts of his staff and players and the community’s unwavering support.

The meeting also included various approvals crucial for the township’s infrastructure and services. Among these were several resolutions related to roadway improvements. The council authorized contracts for the Lions Head South Roadway resurfacing project and multilocation roadway resurfacing, totaling over $833,000. These projects, awarded to Earl Asphalt Farmingale and Mo Inc., respectively, cover significant improvements including resurfacing, ADA compliance, and curb replacements. Additionally, contracts for stormwater improvements and the Cherry Quay roadway improvement program were approved.
