While some students and families choose to fundraise to offset expenses, participation in fundraising activities has declined, with more families opting to self-fund the trip.

Another agenda item was the board’s consideration of policy updates concerning the transportation of students to care and treatment facilities. The updated policy now aligns with the guidelines of the Goodhue County Education District (GCED). This change aims to standardize transportation practices across districts and prevent excessive travel distances for daily commutes to treatment facilities.
