The township attorney and council have now resolved the necessary legal steps to formalize this transfer.

The board also reviewed and approved changes to the township’s affordable housing code. These changes, requested by the Fair Share Housing Center, involved removing a waiver provision to comply with the township’s settlement for the fourth round of affordable housing agreements. Mayor Albanese highlighted that these adjustments were part of a broader negotiation process to meet state housing requirements.
