In tandem with these discussions, plans to stabilize the historic East Point Lighthouse were outlined. This lighthouse, an iconic structure, is facing erosion issues that threaten its foundation and longevity.

The southern sewer development project garnered attention as well, with an ordinance being adopted to fund sewer improvements in several townships.
