Overview: During the recent Douglas County School Board meeting, attention was given to the district’s efforts to enhance its climate and culture through the introduction of five specific norms: presuming positive intent, exuding and expecting optimism, addressing concerns appropriately, creating a culture of safe mistakes, and communicating kindly and respectfully.
