The superintendent emphasized that the effectiveness of the district’s security system remained unchanged despite the committee’s restructuring.

Mrs. Heather Guas and Mrs. Vicki Becker expressed concerns about the role of board members in conducting research and the portrayal of committees, emphasizing that board members should ensure the district is well-run rather than running specific areas. Mr. Jeffrey Winston defended the idea of board members doing their own research and highlighted the historical role of the security committee.

The meeting concluded with updates on high school activities, including the Asian Club’s bubble tea house event and preparations for the prom, as well as the necessity for a music composer to engage with students before creating a school piece.
