In addition to staffing updates, the board discussed the issuance of motor vehicle excise bills for 2026, totaling over 15,000 bills for the first commitment. This was accompanied by the processing of commitment number seven for 2025, which included over 300 bills related to vehicles registered later in the year. The board reminded taxpayers of the upcoming deadlines for applying for abatements and filing personal property forms.

Another agenda item was the initiation of cyclical property inspections, set to begin in mid-March. These inspections, required every ten years, ensure that assessors review every parcel within their jurisdiction. The process is expected to take three months, with letters being mailed to property owners at the beginning of March.
