A highlight of the meeting was the acknowledgment of 34 students from JP Stevens High School Choir for their selection to the prestigious 2026 CGMEA Central Jersey Regions Choir. In addition to this, students Kaylin Seed Lopez, Fehow Lee, Ryan Lee, Emanuel Kasus, and Selena Luong were commended for their outstanding achievements in academics and extracurricular activities during the Rotary Senior of the Month breakfast. Outgoing board member Joe Romano was honored for his three years of service. The president expressed gratitude for Mr. Romano’s contributions, presenting him with a plaque as a token of appreciation. A kickoff meeting for the JMI expansion project was noted. The board also issued public bids for air conditioning installations at three schools.
