Superintendent Ryan Gupta explained the “Best in the Nest” initiative, which honors students who exhibit qualities such as respect, responsibility, and empathy. During the meeting, students from kindergarten through second grade were called up to receive certificates.

The meeting also included a brief update on the fiscal planning for the upcoming year. The business administrator reported progress in budget development, noting that the state’s budget software had recently become accessible. This development allows for continued work towards finalizing a tentative budget, which is expected to be ready for review in the February meeting.
