The Superintendent and Business Administrator discussed ongoing meetings regarding budget proposals with the administration and mentioned plans to meet with the Finance Committee soon. This process aims to ensure a transparent and well-organized approach to managing district finances, with more detailed information to be provided in the coming months.

In a touching display of community solidarity, the board expressed gratitude for the successful “greenout day” held in memory of former student Mark Ibrahim. The event raised over $1,200 for the Mark Ibrahim Scholarship Fund, which will be awarded to a sixth-grade student who exemplifies kindness, joyfulness, and eagerness to learn, traits that Mark was known for.

Celebrating student achievements was another focus, with recognition given to the “Cardinals of the Month” from Stevenson School.
