Additionally, an occupational therapist updated the board on a grant for sensory pathways at Churchill and Stevenson Schools. These pathways will be installed in ten hallways and are designed to support sensory needs for all students. They will provide opportunities for movement during transitions or breaks, promoting a positive learning environment. Plans to incorporate yoga and mindfulness activities were also discussed, especially for winter months when outdoor recess is limited.

The board recognized the efforts of students participating in the Super Bowl of Caring, a nationwide initiative aimed at fighting hunger. Students and staff from Churchill and Stevenson schools wore football jerseys and collected donations, raising a total of $754 for the Caldwell Food Pantry.
